  1. Maybe it's been taken with a camera phone? They have a habit of having a fisheye effect. I'm 5'11' and ride the same frame.
  2. There's something very wrong with that photo, it looks like the bike is tiny. Or you look over 7 ft.

    Ebay Snipers

It pisses me off but i do it anyway becuase i know other people are doing it. I think there should be a fixed amount of time after someone has placed a bid before the item can end (if the item has 1 min to go and someone bids, it is brought back to 30 mins every time).

    Tgs 24?

Well now that 24" parts have become more available i can't see why it wouldn't be a thriving market. There's a handful of company's that are already developing them, so it's not a case of 'if' it's 'when'. I may consider buying one sometime down the road as i feel restricted with small wheels sometimes but stocks are just too far away from mods for me to be comfortable with.

    Tgs 24?

Your wrong. It has all the advantages of a stock and all the advantages of a mod.
  6. So, why spend time and money on a frame to try solve a problem that doesn't really exist?
  7. I wouldn't really take any notice to the poll results, and i certainly wouldn't use them as a deciding factor to what products you'll mae, there just isn't enough options and information, like someone has already mentioned about the hub. And you can already see from the results about the BB hight there's two spikes on the options (10-20 and 50-80) which shows two obvious types of riding, the traditional 24" riders and people who answered yes to your first question respectively. I've been saying for a while now a TGS 24" frame will sell really well, especially since echo have brought out a bunch of 24" components, to date there's no one selling anything but a street 24". My gut tells me pretty much every company is already testing / developing one as I type. Everyone is interested in a frame where you don't have to break the chain, but no one wants to deal with the many drawbacks that this'll bring. They only reason onza experimented with a frame where you could take the chain off without breaking it was because they were wanting to try belt drive. People wouldn't go out of their way to buy a frame that meant they didn't have the break their chain because it isn't a big deal at all. Hence why you're getting mixed votes on that question.
  8. Someone needs to record them and get them on youtube.
  9. Was the double meaning intentional?

    Met Atomos

Looks to me like a very nice helmet, and the price is excellent too. I have a met and the headband adjustment thing is great.
  11. The biggest advantage for me is that the weight is centered. When i went from a profile to a ffw the wight off the back wheel was just so nice.
  12. The better deal you want the longer it's going to take to find, just keep looking and be prepared to wait until a good deal comes along, or lower some of your standards, dented frame aren't bad if you're just a beginner, and you don't need maguras.
  13. It was an ok episode, the lorry backing into the car was just plain set up obviously, but was the other crash?
  14. Wow, so what happens if you find a shop in china that was selling a Deng frame for 55 pounds with postage of about 60 pounds? Obviously you wouldn't match that.
  15. No, it only applies to shops in the UK. Don't forget buying from trials parts maybe cheap, but unless you live in that country the postage will probably outweigh the price for the parts.

    Trials-uk.co.uk

Ok first sensible answer. The guy who runs T-UK is a rich daddies boy and doesn't really care if his business goes down the shitter as his dad will bail him out, so he doesn't give a crap about customer service, he never answers the phone or replies to emails, so when he sends out the wrong parts, broken parts etc (which is quite common) there no way of getting in touch with him. There has probably been at least 20 topics made over the last 12 months or so with major problems, and many people who've also had troubles have posted within these topics. And that isn't counting all the people who've had problems who've kept silent.
  17. There's nothing to stop you from clicking on their profile page and emailing them or adding them to msn.
  18. You've ridden 10 ices?! I don't think I've rode 10 different frames.
  19. Just as well because an ice frame is incompatible with that bike. That bike has a 20" rear wheel, ice frames are designed to take 19" rear wheels.
  20. It was 0 until you started working there. I'm sure tartybikes have made a couple of mistakes that pissed a couple of people off, my guess would be around 5? *Shrugs*.
  21. Tartybikes have a price match, and good orders don't outweigh the bad ones. Good orders are what you'd expect from a shop, it's not a case of +1 for a good order -1 for a bad order, keeping a score. If you want to do it like that it should be -1 for a bad order and nothing for a good one. Putting tartybikes at maybe -5 and T-UK at -68.
  22. Onza comp is an excellent bike to start with, also, if you goto peoples profile you can email them from there. However the guy might not want to deal with you as you are a new member, it depends on the seller.
  23. Seriously? Anyway, I never got round to riding in York, there was a couple who rode but they've since left to universities, seemed like that there wasn't a great deal to do there to be honest. Whitby has a few nice spots if you like your natural but it's probably not worth the trip. Scarborough often hosts some rides too.
