  1. But they do give to the NHS, through taxes. I don't know it just seems a little closed minded to say, footballers earn loads so they should give their money away. The majority of high earns have charities they give lots too, some even have their own. You can't really judge people until you know what they're doing with their money. Bill Gates for example earns way more than any footballer and he is one of the biggest givers to charity.
  2. Who was the last rider to become a professional trials rider? Ryan Leech? It really is amazing how far he's come in such a short space of time.
  3. But don't high earners pay shit load of taxes anyway?
  4. Would anyone here give 2 quid out their wages a day to feed a homeless person for a month? It's the same difference.
  5. Do you know how much those things cost!? I take back what I said about a rear disc freehub, I've been bitching about there not being one for ages now but i'm happy with a balanced weight bike.
  6. There doesn't seem to be a clear cut line between what's 'advertising' and what isn't. If a customer is asking about a price of a frame and when it's coming out I see no problem with that. However i completely understand that if closing these threads is going to make them more likely to buy advertising on the site to keep TF in the tip top condition then fair enough. I think a sticky in website updates and / or the news section explaining what can and can't be done would be a good idea. If someone has advertising and they free to advertise throughout the forum freely?
  7. Would have been nice to change in the colour but the geo should make it a really strong selling frame.

Yeah but I'm not bitching about the poor trials community.

Love the look on Ali's face when the girls asks him to "do it again".
  12. Best of the net? *Shrugs*.
  13. Oh sorry, misunderstood. I thought you were out to recover any bike that'd bee stolen. Could you describe it, was it a mod or a stock, colour etc?
  14. What the hell you talking about, you're going to get everyone's bike back? We get around 2 topics a month on people bike's been stolen, it happens quite a lot all over the country.
  15. I suppose but with the modern tech we have these days I feel we can't go too wrong.
  16. What i'm trying to say it evolution as it stands now may have a few things that are incorrect, but the underlining theory is 100% fact, no doubts, that's what happened and nothing will ever change that. There will always become more and more information discovered and the theory of evolution will become more filled but like i was saying when comparing it to the earth being round no matter how much more information we get about the earth it'll always be round. Just because you can't get a clear cut picture of evolution just like you get of the spherical earth doesn't mean it should be more open to criticism. Well, define limited. If i had 100% of the earths money, apart from a couple of pennies, do I have limited funds?
  17. Ben are you just saying all this solely because you want it known that you are open to new evidence? It's fair enough to keep an open mind about how non-life became life because that is pretty much an unknown, same with the origins of the universe. But evolution is considered fact like the earth is round. It is true that we're always going to be learning more, when we used to believe 'the earth is flat' and 'we were all created' these were 'facts' at the time, the problem was is there was no evidence to support this. As time went on we knew that the earth was round and we knew about evolution because of scientific evidence. And up to the present we know so much about the earth, we know all the mountain ranges, the thickness of layers of the earth, we know the earth isn't perfectly spherical, we know exactly where the magnetic poles are. But to say 'the earth is probably round, but it also could be flat' is exactly comparable to what you're saying about evolution 'probably being right'.
  18. She comes in right as he mentions twisting the nipples.
  19. Looks like the opening scene for some tartyporn.
  20. The search isn't too great on TF, but I wouldn't say it was something that needs attention right away. Now that the feedback system is back and members can now vote in pre members there's nothing I can think of that'll make TF that much better.
  21. I don't think you'll be able to run a bashring with those cranks and that BB combo. I don't think there'll be enough room and the 18T cog will rub against the BB's external bearings.
  22. That's my old bike pretty much exactly how it was when I sold it. Don't touch it or i'll kill you. But seriously, the only thing you could do that'll really effect the weight is getting rid of the profile, it won't really make much of a difference to the weight its self, but it'll center up the weight and make the bike feel much more balanced. Apart from that it'll come down to just changing the parts, which from my point of view is crazy because when i was building that bike up money was no object and I felt I was buying the best of the best. The frame and forks are pretty heavy, but you know either will never break. The old tensile cranks (one crank is older than the other by the way) are pretty much as light as they come - same with the bars and the stem, and to a point pretty much everything on the bike now that i think about it. The Echo SL forks are prone to snapping, to the point where I've heard of beginners snapping them messing about on the few creates. Stay well away from them. So yeah to sum up, the frame, forks and profile hub are the only 3 things on the bike that are relatively heavy, changing anything else won't make a difference, it is on the heavy side but it's more down to weight balance than it's actual weight. Change to a front freewheel and see how it feels then.
