  1. Then he'll have it too. It's a plan with no drawbacks.
  2. When buying a frame there's 3 things. Lightweight, strength and low price. You can only have two. I can't think of a combo of the two where drilling would become an advantage. Just leave it along and buy lighter parts from now on.
  3. Try setting up the pads real close, they should be between 1mm and 1.5mm. See if that works. You may find that they're too far away and by time the pads hit the rim your lever is pretty much all the way there.
  4. Wow, ever since they employed Mark that place has really gone downhill.
  5. Looks pretty good, but is there anyway to get better hosting to loose that ad banner from the top?
  6. If you bought them new from tartybikes I'd give them a call, they may send you out a replacement. Does the lever keep moving after the pads have hit the rim? If you bought them new from tartybikes I'd give them a call, they may send you out a replacement. Does the lever keep moving after the pads have hit the rim? When you said you set them up as close as you can, do you mean the pads are right up against the rim, or do you mean as close as you can as in the maguras can't go any closer because of something else? Do you have any slack in the leaver, like when you pull the lever the pistons don't move?

    Tailwhip On 20" Trial

A tailwhip is pretty hard to do especially with that big fat rear wheel. I've done it, but when i filmed it turned out there was on memory card in the camera because a friend of mine needed to use it to perform and emergency tracheotomy on his friend when he ate a Reese's Peanut butter cup (he was allergic) and never replaced it. But yeah I can do them.
  8. Well czar, zoo, echo, GU and adamant (I probably missed one, i usually do) are all made by the same guy (referd to as 'Deng frames') so really all those frame are pretty much the same build quality weight etc. (Although they do have the new light weight range out now.) So they're all just as good as eachother really. Deng frames are known to be strong, long, reasonably priced but a little weighty.
  9. But this. I had one of the basic park toolz chain tool, it didn't break but the chain was too wide for it.
  10. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....=139417&hl= I'm pretty happy with mine, plus I was recently in a comp of 13 riders, 3 of which were riding czars. That's a big chunk of the pie chart. The geo is pretty average for a deng frame. It's nothing too extreme so i can't see why anyone would dislike it.
  11. Yeah the difference in wheelbase isn't going to help you out with your hight. The shortest and longest of frames will give you a difference of about 7cm axle to axle. You can check out the kids bikes section of tartybikes: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/search.php?category_id=507 But I think a full sized mod wouldn't be an issue for someone who's 4ft 5". Especially if you'll grow into it over the next year or so. In that case check out the onza range.
  12. I'm pretty sure Ali C is the sexpert on these and IIRC they wouldn't hold air pressure for very long and punctured very easily.

    What Laptop

I don't really think you can get a laptop under 300 pounds, looking on ebuyer the cheapest on there is 330 and that has 1gb of ram where i don't think really you want to be going any less than 2gb these days.
  14. Pick up your bike holding the seat tube and the headset and smash the back wheel into this face.
  15. I was trying to reassure him it wasn't painless. Well done guys, he's probably shitting himself now.
  16. I'd much rather have my ass swabbed than my penis. Who's with me?!

    Our New Kittens

They look like they're plotting something.
  18. How very noble and disturbing all in one sentence. They so put a cotton bud like thing down your japs eye. Painless and just feels a little weird.
  19. So Joe what is your personal experience that keep you believing in god?
  20. You have the wrong definition for the word theory, and is a comment mistake for people to make who don't have a clue what they're talking about. The theory of evolution is the same as the theory of gravity. And we're pretty sure we got gravity just about figured out. The word has different meaning when used in this context/
