I say this every time a thread pops up about forsale / wanted in new members. I was always under the impression that the reason it was banned was to stop people using new members to sell their stuff and only ever post to sell their stuff. Which i think is a better reason anyway. Seemed to me the whole being scammed issue came it after the rule was enforced. (Anyone got a link to the original topic?) Anyway, it's really easy to get validated now, users can vote for validation, it only used to be the mods and admin. So now all you need to do is make a couple of posts that use capital letters and full stops and you're good to go.

Well I started out with a da bomb, the bike you're looking at is probably a 'da bomb pro' (as opposed to the da bomb skool). The bike pictured looks ok, and has a pair of maguras. So it's not too bad of a deal. An onza would be better, I guess if you could get a similar priced onza with roughly the same spec you'd be better off. If you could get it for around 140 then that'd be more reasonable.

Well said, what they don't tell you is that if you want anything that isn't black it costs you $40 more. The reason I got a dell is because I could start with the cheapest model and upgrade what i wanted while keeping stuff like hard drive and ram costs to a minimum.

No scientist is ever going to say that creationism is possible, but then again it depends on what you mean by creationism. Even Richard Dawkins has said that 'we could have been designed intelligently' but when most people talk about that they're talking about right back to singular celled organisms. We know for fact how we developed from the very basic life to today. We just don't really know how non life turned into life. But there's nothing wrong with not knowing. I'll watch some John MacKay vids later on tonight.

Evolution makes no sence to you becuase you have no concept of any of the devices that it needs, one of which is millions and millions of years. Someone is used to the idea that the earth was created 6000 years ago isn't going to be able to conceive the idea of millions and millions of years. Carbon dating is wrong sometimes, but right most of the time. Plus there's many different ways to date things. I have aggression towards people who believe in creationism the same way you would if someone came up to you and said your name was Steve. It's just not true and that's not your name, but this guy keeps going on about how your name is Steve and constantly calls you Steve every time he sees you because he read that your name is Steve in a book. He has no evidence that your name is Steve, but you have your birth certificate and ID to show your name isn't Steve but he says that all your ID and birth certificate is fake. Wouldn't you get pissed off? Evolution isn't something to be debated, it's got nothing to do with opinions, evolution is fact. The problem is is that for religious people to accept that they have to somewhat reject the bible, and some religions have actually done this, and refer to the bible stories as a metaphor.

There is no evidence for creationism. Me and you just disagree on the definition of 'evidence'. But yeah, you get people running their mouths off about how creationism can be possible, half of it is just BS someone has made up that fits, the rest is BS reasons that evolution can't be possible. The eye for example is one that a lot of people use. Lets not forget the eye isn't so great. It can only process light, not the rest of the EM spectrum, like microwaves and infrared etc, it's very prone to short and long sightedness and it can be easily damaged. It isn't good in low light, or very bright light. It can't zoom in, it can't really do much at all. The eye can easily have evolved from what it was originally, a thing that could only detect light or an absence of light. Juts because you don't understand how doesn't mean it's impossible. Well this is a thread about creationism / evolution. Some people say bigfoot and the lockness monster are fact, usually the same kind of people who say creationism is fact. The big difference between those and evolution is that evolution has been proved over and over and over and over again, and anything new that has ever and will ever be found will probably fit the theory of evolution. There is not one shred of evidence for creationism. What is wrong with the world today is that people are so far deep into their religion that they refuse to open their minds to what is actually the truth. I personally can't do much research into evolution myself, but then again there's very little research I can do myself on the tides or the moons orbit but we know how they work. But I just believe the people who are intelligent and well educated enough to do that kind of stuff.
