You're in a really shitty situation, my advice would be to learn everything as if you were a left foot forward rider. You rotate your bike clockwise when you ride, I assume when you do anything like 180's 360's foot jams, it'll always be clockwise so that tells me that you should be left foot forward, combine that with the fact that you backhop with your left foot forward means that you're doing everything right apart from when you pedal kick. I guy I used to ride with had a similar problem, although i can barely remember what exactly it was, I did once hear him say something a long the lines that he had to do a quick pedal backwards to switch his forward foot. Lean to pedal kick with the other foot, it's going to be a right bitch, and feel crap at first. But it has to be done.

1. If you were to step up onto something (just walking, not on a bike) like something high-ish like a table in one step, which leg would you feel more comfortable stepping up with first? 2. If you were to start a 100m sprint, and you started on the floor, which foot would out have forward? 3. Say you wanted do a 180 endo, which way do you spin?

With regards to planes, i don't think we'll see much 1000mph + travel for a long long time. The idea of getting from the uk to the usa in just over an hour would be my dream come true but i'll be surprised if I see it in my lifetime.

Window fan. Best invention ever.

Yeah he doesn't use a giro. Why do they call them giros anyway?

I thought it was going to be really bad and cheesy from that first shrug, but yeah very very good, can't see this on tv, more of an internet ad i would have thought.

He said he was pretty much going to ride TGS, so 24" is out of the question really. It seems like you'll be much happier on a 26", so go buy a 26". Epically since you've ridden a lot of 26" bikes in the past, don't buy a mod just because people say it's easier, learning the basics to trials is a difficult thing whichever sized wheeled bike you're on so I wouldn't worry about that. Plus, when it comes to TGS riding 26"ers have many advantages such as bigger wheels which not only allow you to get more power out of your wheels (bigger gaps) but you're less likely to miss things like rails and stuff. The problem is for 500-600 pounds you won't really get a lot for you're money when it comes to stocks unless you buy 2nd hand. It is a bit daunting to give someone all that money, best thing to do is make sure you have a landline phone number, and an address, then if the worst comes to worse you can call the hell out of them and if that doesn't work report them to the local police. But most transactions on here go without any major problems. So I'd keep an eye out for a cheap 2nd hand bike.

I was on the beach, and I guess it was some trials get together, and my wheel was like really buckled and really off to one side, so TRA came along and took my wheel off and did something to it to straighten it out, he kind of held it at the axle and pulled it out then in like a accordion and then pushed it back together (this he how he probably sorts he's wheels out in real life), but anyway when i put it back on it was still bent, so I went to (what may or may not have been Adam) someone from tartybikes, and he did the same thing to strighten out the wheel, but he did some twisting stuff instead of just pull and push, when he pulled it out like tra did, and i put it back on my bike and it was stright!

Yeah I'm going to be screwed if i need the half price replacement.

Assuming you're going for a mod, the rip is your only choice at a budget of 250 pounds unless you buy 2nd hand. It is better to spend more money on a bike, rather buying one then going out and upgrading it straight away. However, the rip is a decent bike, it should last you up to the point where you need to buy a new bike, or you've decided trials isn't for you (which unfortuneately is quite a common case due to the difficult initial skills you have to learn). My advice would be to buy the rip and don't upgrade it, (rips are hard to upgrade due to their 20" rear wheel and rear freewheel setup) and ride it untill you think you're too good for it and sell it on and spend 600 pounds or so on a new trials bike. If you can increase your budget so you could buy the pro, you could upgrade as and when you like. The pro is ( i think personally) one of the best bikes to upgrade as it doesn't have the drawbacks of the rip and the bird, and is fully disc and magura ready.

And like I said in the post you quoted it doesn't matter what language you speak, some things are consistent throughout all languages. If i'm wrong, please do tell me, but as far as I'm aware Slovakian uses the same kind of basic punctuation, which are capital letters at the start of sentences and spaces after full stops and commas. He said it himself it's a lack of effort rather than a problem occurring due to the fact that English isn't his first language. I'm not saying he shouldn't have been validated, I'm saying that that could be one of the reasons why he wasn't. You see I explained my point of view instead of calling you a twat.

12% accuracy is pretty good for Dave when he's sober, not to mention when he's drunk.
-
Why would you want a more powerful brake at the front?
-
They don't need to, ENO's are all you need out of a freewheel.
-
I ride with a couple of unicycle riders. It's definitely got a lot of disadvantages over regular trials riding. But if you get good you can pretty much do anything you could on a regular trials bike.
-
"If someone's post doesn't start in a capital letter, I never validate them" I've heard that come out of the majority of the mods mouths. I know the guy isn't English, and i'm not criticizing his his spelling, i'm criticizing the way he types, putting spaces after commas and full stops has got nothing to do with what language he speaks, it's just one of the reasons why he isn't validated. It's got nothing to do with me caring about how he posts.

You put spaces after commas and full stops in Slovakian.
-
I think you're the only person who has ever managed to do that.
-
You're posts are really hard to read, you seem to use a different apostrophe to everyone else which looks like you've put a space either side of it, that in it's self isn't a big deal but combine that with the fact that you don't use spaces after commas, full stops and brackets etc make you posts very annoying to read. The validation system is to keep the rest of the forum of a high standard. Allowing posts typed liked yours would lower the standard, and the form may be used less because of it.

I agree, I've never even considered a king due to the price range and horror stories about it skipping 180 degrees. I'd rather have 3 enos.
