You won't get charged the regular tax like we do in the UK. But when the bike enters the country you'll have to pay your countries taxes. I find it hard to believe tarty would state a difference price on the customs forms. Might want to check on that again.

I can't remember if it was here or OTN where I was bitching about this. But I wanted housing for a full sus mountain bike cut to length. It didn't occur to me to measure because I'd have though they could just measure up against a bike there. They flat out refused to because 'all bikes are different' and cut a foot for the front and 6ft for the back. Obviously 6ft was about twice the length it needed to be so i had to take it back and have it re cut, which they messed up and I had to neaten it up when I got home.

It's mass multiplayer, so everyone is chipping away at the same cube. You can only do one layer at a time. You get bonus coins if you are the last one to clear a layer which you can buy powerups with. You also get coins for dozens of other reasons. I think the concept is amazing.

Simplest thing to do would be to send him some money to have it mailed back to you. 1 of 2 things will happen. He won't send it back and he'll keep the money, or, he will send it back and you can give him a full refund. Then you can repair it and resell it again. If you genuinely think he's being honest, you should do your best to sort him out.

Pretty much fixed now. Downloaded AMD Catalyst Software Suite, don't get why this didn't come with the laptop to begin with. This allowed me to pretty much move the screen a few pixels at a time. Text is still a little off, but it's good enough.

Well, having the sharpness turned down to 0 really helps. It's certainly not perfect, but i think it's as good as it's going to get, same quality as i'm used to from the old setup with the old laptop with the vga cable. Although I think it should be better, after all the tv has a higher res than the laptop screen. Contrast / colours are now sorted too. Still have the issue with the output being too big for the tv though. Changing res to the next lowest has the opposite problem (a black boarder).

Comparing the VGA on the tv though this laptop and the old laptop it's pretty much the same. Comparing the vga to the HDMI on this laptop it's a million miles better. Colours are pretty much spot on and the text is much clearer. AMD Radeon graphics card 7670m. Went though device manager and it said I have the 'best' already installed.

So, new laptop, with HDMI, but when I use the TV as a second monitor, everythything is horrible. 1. The contrast is crazy high. 2. When i fullscreen youtube vids, the vid doesn't fit on the screen and i'm missing an inch all the way around. 3. Text and general quality is terrible, it's as if i'm looking an an old CTR TV.
