  1. ...and the building had the same air pressure as earth, what would be a humans terminal velocity? Would we be able to skydive with no parachoot and land on the ground safe? Or would we be able to dive into water after reaching terminal velocity?

    Help Me Diy My Deck.

I'll attack it tomorrow with said suggestions. it doesn't look like it's going to scrape off too easy. Nitromors will be plan B.

    Help Me Diy My Deck.

Oh, i have one of those. A much cheaper small one. Didn't think that would do the job actually. I'll give it a whirl tomorrow.

Now I just need to figure out how to get the old paint off. We do have a angle grinding tool laying about with one of these on it. ...but I think that would f**k up the wood.

Mine down to 3 blocks above the highest piece of bedrock. The stripmine with 5 block gaps in between. Ideally have a storage area on the surface, and a drop back down into your mine so that you can get down quick. It's the most efficient way of mining for diamonds. Let me on your server and I'll come diamond hunting!
  6. I'm getting very slow loading TF too.
  7. We have a very small deck outside our house which needs repainting within 2 weeks. Because we have dogs most of the paint has chipped away on the walking part of it and the steps. There's about 1/10th of the paint actually left on there. Should I repaint over the top of the old paint? Get rid of what's left of the paint and stain it? If so how would I get rid of the old paint? I'm really looking for something that will last, trying to avoid having to redo it often. I'm thinking stain would be the best way to go as it's not going to 'chip-off' like the paint did? I'm such a DIY noob any help would be great, but please remember I don't have access to hundreds of pounds worth of tools or have any real expertise.
  8. Windows comes out with a good OS, then a bad OS. Looking forward to windows 9!

Oh this ^ isn't what I meant and is what's causing the confusion. Yeah if you download a cracked / illigal copy you can only play singleplayer. To play online 99% of the time you do need to have actually bought an account. What I meant by what I quoted is once you buy the game, you don't have to pay extra to play online. No fees or anything.

Well I managed to pirate it. Don't see how it'd be any more difficult than any other game to pirate. If anything it would be easier as Notch has said many times he doesn't mind people illegally downloading it so he's not exactly going to go out of his way to make it difficult.

    Minecraft

You have to buy the game, it's free to play online providing you have a server to play on. However in the next update you'll be able to have other people play with you much easier.
  12. It's from an Adam Sandler movie.

    Minecraft

The game maker has said many times he doesn't really care if you download it illegally, so do that and give single player a go, you can't play multiplayer until you actually buy it though.

Yeah much less than 15. Rarely see more than 2 people online at once. You have a PM.

*pats on head* No. I play on a private server that's ran by a friend of mine that I used to go to school with years ago. If anyone wants in on it and isn't going to go on and f**k shit up let me know.
  16. Oh wow I need that! High for efficient riding and then boom, 4 inches lower for downhill. I thought it was like air shock suspension for your saddle.
  17. Why would anyone have one of those? What exactly do they do?
  18. And to be super organized, you could sticky all the active / unresolved disputes so they just don't head off the bottom of the page never knowing what ever happened.
  19. Ok so got it all built up. Seems ok, needs new cables throughout really, especially on the brakes but that's no big deal. There's a red lever on the rear shock which seems to be the lockout which does actually lock out surprisingly. Is that little red lever supposed to be either all the way on or off or can it be set in between? When it locks out the red lever kind of locks into place, but it's very loose in between, I'm assuming it's not supposed to be say anywhere in the middle. Also with regards to the rear shock, it is supposed to have any kind of dampening (make and model listed above)? Had a bounce around and didn't seem to, and there's no adjustment for it that I can make out. The lockout on the forks doesn't seem to be quite as good as lockout I had on my almost identical forks back at home, is this simply a case of them needed to be serviced? The rebound seems to be working pretty good. In fact with it set to slowest it's quite hard to even lift the front wheel off the floor. Edit: Scrap that, it does stay put and alters how soft/hard it needs to be. Still no sign of rebound adjust though.
  20. Fair enough, like I said never had a rear sus bike before and thought I read they were both springs. Should be here any time now so I'll see what it's like.
  21. I can agree to that. Also if a dispute title doesn't have the members name in the title, ie "possible scammer" and "have you ever dealt with this guy" it should be by the mods.
  22. As far as i'm aware they're both spring? http://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/BikeSpecs.aspx?Year=2008&Brand=Specialized&Model=FSR%20XC&Type=bike

    Bears

Bears know to f**k cars up to get food. Generally people don't keep food in tents or have them in sealed containers so bears can't smell them. Bears have learned this and don't even bother anymore. But really so long as you don't have any food open to the air you'd have no issues.

[media=] This was my first but not last encounter with a bear.
  25. I thought you only needed to worry about that if you had air forks.
