I'm with NTL and had broadband running through my Digital Set top box. To go wireless I just saved myself aload of hassle and bought the NTL recommended Actiontec router and stuff. Thing is... its £100 which is a bit steep and especially if you order another adaptor like I did for my brothers laptop. £44 quid for the adaptor! What a rip off! I have the same problem on my brothers laptop as Simon does where I installed my Adaptor that came with the original router start up package and its all connected properly yet I can't go on the internet. Its as if I don't have an internet connection. Any ideas as I have the new additional adaptor but don't want to open it up if its not going to work and I have to send it back. Ahh this is just the topic i need to ask a question in... I used to transfer music from my pc to my phone but i got a laptop last week, installed everything required but when I plug the phone in it says I need to format the card so i do that but it always errors before finishing the format, so it doesn't completely format. Now when I plug it back into the pc it says format card and same thing happens. Any ideas?

Hey guys thought I'd make this topic after a conversation with my mate on msn earlier (I'm using an old topic I made about routers and stuff but no one replied, so why create a new topic when I can recycle this? ). So yeah this might all sound like bollocks but here goes. Basically what are your views on terrorism and the way Britain is run nowadays? I personally think we are losing the "war on terrorism" as we are relying to much on vintage tactics and need to wise up to the modern world. What I mean by this is we're no longer fighting army's where we knew who we were fighting and where they were and their strength and power... Todays fight is against individual organisations who we know nothing about i.e their strength, weapons, location and commanders and such. I t's a whole new ball game in my opinion. We need to scrap and rewrite the rules of engagement because they are out dated as we fight new threats which pay no attention to the rules and fight dirty. We need to start fighting dirty back and not giving them the chance to get the better of us i.e taking out the threat before it has the chance to take us out. I also feel that we should bring the troops home and begin to take control at our borders. We need to reduce the amount of immigrants applying to live here and use the army to perform house to house checks or things like that where we can locate the illegal citizens and ship them back to where ever they come from... (A bit drastic I know but I personally feel we have let the situation become unmanageble and feel this is the only way to rid them from the country) Also evict preachers of hate (If they don't like our way of life.. why are they living here?). After watching street crime uk on bravo all week I have also noticed how many public service resources such as police officers and ambulances are used for drink related acts of violence and accidents. Its no wonder we have barely any police officers on hand to answer to emergency situations as it takes like 3 cars of officers to respond to a drunken fight after pub closing time. We also need to sort out our justice system as it is failing the country and its no longer a deterent to criminal acts. I don't really have an answer as to what I personally think we should do about this but I'm sure there is some sort of deterent to drunken violence and things like that. So yeah I don't really know where I'm going with all this but thats my personal views on everything and I would like to hear what the rest of you have to say on it? Ahh cheers. Erm the only reason I'm running a booster on the back is to protect the hose crossover as I've split it a few times and it annoys me so yeah just there for novelty and to protect the hose kind of haha. Cheers for all the comments guys

Okey I used to have Onza Smart Guys on my T-Mag but after some advice and realising how high the front end was with them on... I bought Will Arnolds Echo Easys and with a bit of trouble managed to finally get them on her and so I think she's lovely Before I saw sense... After the transformation... Sorry about this pic was taken at work so bit blurry Spot the bodge Its only temporary till I get a nut and bolt to clamp the body to the handlebar. Works a treat though. So its only a joke if someone laughs at it? Doesn't work like that. A fair few jokes aren't funny as I stated earlier. This was an an attempt at telling an 'amusing story' with a punch line but people didn't find it funny so it still falls under the catagory joke. I'm not trying to provoke an argument or anything, I just thought that it would have been more sensible to post it in the Joke thread as thats what the threads there for... To tell jokes?

So because it's not funny its not a joke? A fair few of the jokes in the joke thread aren't funny (Saracen - Mads for example) but its a joke none the less. Just seemed like a waste of a topic considering we have a topic that fits the purpose of the original post perfectly.

Thats one of the early prototypes of the Zip I think you'll find. Think its under the Onza name because they hadn't developed the sister company name of Zona at that present time. Although I could be completely wrong.

Yeah it did. Just theres nothing for the bolt to screw into lol. Thats what I meant by my problem... The bit the bolt screws into half the casing snapped off so nothing for it to screw into and hold the clamp tight around the bar. Cheers though

At the moment I'm deseperate.. but not that desperate. Only kidding. Thing is I don't really want to resort to that as I want something thats easy to hold it in place and easy to take off. Cheers though
