I need to get grease off my hope trial disc pads. I have read about boiling and baking. Which do people who have tried find to work better. Im more inclined to boil them but if baking is better then I will try that. Also how long do you stick them in the pan for? Do u boil the water first and then stick them in and bring to a simmer  Chef school. Or do you put them in then bring to the boil??

Buy a kit from a hardware store. Maybe B&Q or somewhere like that might sell them. Its very easy to do. There will be instructions on how to in the box. Its not worth getting it done by someone else.

No grind, on any rim will stay put when ridden in the wet and mud. It just makes a paste which wears away the grind in no time.

Yeah Porter is right. Thats his buisness address. Cant mix buisness and pleasure

If your not sure then grab the origonal bolt from the stem and see if it screws into the metal coil. If it fits then the kit u have is fine for the job. If you stripped the thread then u shouldnt need to drill it out. This is simple the experiance I had when I heli coiled my mono trial front brake.

Oh ok. I think the bloke above was talking about the lever. I dont know really to be honest.
-
Do you mean the lever upside down?

Yeah exactly what I was thinking John. Ali's old one isnt it? Anyway, f**king sick riding :) Loved the flow of it all. Really good vid.

I dont think it should mate as what your doing is bringing a new product to everyones attentions. However, the thread below was promtly shut after three posts for doing exactly the same thing. Seems like double standards to me. :) Why shut that one after three posts and allow this one to stay open?? They are both doing the same thing!!! http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=66305 I would love to know the reason, and hopefully someone will be able to post an answer soon. But the way I see it is that if the triton thread was closed for advertising, then this one should be too!!!! I would like to have seen both still open, but its unfair now not to close this one.

Im posting up to let people know about the Bourne End fun nigh demo. Its being held in bourne end high street on the 9th of December. The whole high street is being shut for the event, and there will be other things going on aswell. We are getting skips and loads of pallets so it should be a good laugh. It will basically be who ever turns up riding and messing about in a sort of informal demo situation, as Im sure people will want to have a look at whats going on. Also there is going to be speed trials, we have a massive stretch of high street so it we should be able to set up a really good course. If we get enough people along then we will turn it into a team event, like a relay. Riders already going are: Jack Meek Nick Goddard Sam Wheeler Jake Ben Dan Porter might show up and me Bourne end is near Wycombe and is right next to marlow. We want to aim to be up and going for around 4pm so thats the time you should be looking at to get there. If anyone is interested and/or has any questions then please drop a post in here. :)

Why is this thread still open when the Triton thread was closed within 3 post???? :)

It is sooo weird because I have had my one a year now, and I have never had this problem. I have just left it alone and it has worked its self out. It did rub a little after I had set it up, but just left it and it worked its self out and doesnt rub.

I remeber reading in the Bike show brochure last year that trials was the purest form of biking. I think that is wrong. All different biking is hard in its own right. People may think whats the point in hopping up something. But then whats the point of going to a skatepark and getting "air". Whats the point in that? Genrally, a bmxer couldnt get on my bike and sidehop up a wall, and likewise I couldnt get on his bike and go to a flip whip. I think there is a basic lack of respect if anything. All the Bmxers I know are cool and appritiate trials. We all do it to have fun, its just different people find different things fun.

Should be riding Oxford tommorrow the 26th Nov. Meet at the station at about 10.

Doing anything to a high standard is hard. Be it trials, Dh, snooker, football, gymnastics, xc etc.. We cant really say one is easier than the other.
-
Not aimed at you just a general comment. Just because a bike is long doesnt mean it has to have low bars, like wise a shorter bike doesnt have to have higher bars. Long bikes can be bunny hopped really well with higher bars. For comps then a long bike with lower bars tend to be good, but even then look at wayne on his Levelboss, he has quite high bars and won expert this year. If he wants high bars then you can call his bike long.
-
Having high bars on a long bike doesnt defeat the point at all.

I ride alot better on my own, and then tell people and they never believe me ;) hahah Seriously I do like riding on my own, its the best way to push yourself. I dont know if anyone can remeber the channel 4 documentry on the guy who created parquor. But he said something like this... " I prefer to train on my own, because then you are not doing anything for someone else, you are not trying to prove anything to anyone but for yourself. Its when your judgement is at its purest and you see things through your eyes and not anyone elses." And if that nothing like what he said, then thats what Im saying (Y)

I scratch the shit out of my fork though, so I wouldnt really trust them after a while.

I did use to get it with my zero. But like has been said if you do whatever your trying properly then it shouldnt really happen I dont think. When I got a zebdi it never happened.

Awsome Rich.!!!! Nuff said. Good work old boy

Wayne, gaps to rails are generally slightly easier on a stock because they have bigger wheels and that gives you a larger margin of error. How much easier is probally 26 divided by 20 X the height of the rail in T-F inches minus the riders weight...... (Y)
