  1. I'm sure I read that in someone's signiture a few mins ago :D
  2. I'm up for taking the new steed for a spin in the Pool. :D
  3. I don't know why long hair should be a problem for the school, unless it is unkept to the max. I had long hair at high school and so did a load of people and the school wern't too arsed. But the flesh tunnels I can see them having a problem with, and fair enough.
  4. Media whore. This so-called chav 'culture' has ALWAYS been around. People only mention it now because of the press coverage it gets now. The lower working class will always have problems like this, its human nature to have a small percentage of f**k ups. Nothing to do with Labour.
  5. If I was old enough to vote (just missed out this time), I'd vote Lib Dem. Just for the fact that they're the underdogs. Well, more than that, just that they have had the seat where I live for ages and things locally arn't bad at all. And that's as informed as I am on these things and I can't see anything that makes the big two stand out in any way.
  6. A picture a 'friend' of mine 'found'.
  7. That's the best thing I've seen all day
  8. Isn't it called a Favicon? TF's is practically identical to CRC's...

    Linux Help

Could it be something to do with the file system on the USB stick? I never use them so I don't know whether they need to be formatted with a particular file thingy. Put the drivers on a CD or floppy. Edit: Alternatively, if you're having trouble with the drivers then get a router. Its easily the fastest way of setting up net access on Linux.
  10. Aye. More to come I bet... :)
  11. Billy Talent Steps Futureheads Stereophonics Goo Goo Dolls Biffy Clyro SUMMER X2 :o
  12. We're ex-directory but they still get our number somehow :o
  13. I find it really hard to be impolite when I'm on the phone, I don't know why, I've just grown up like that. They always ask for my Dad so I say he's not in, then they go. Simple.
  14. Shame it's not the death of the Catholic church, eh? Just me then...
  15. Bloc Party - Silent Alarm Charlottle Hatherly - Grey Will Fade Radiohead - Kid A (with booklet)
  16. Just be thankful. That what you described can only be described as f**ked up shit, it can f**k someone up beyond treatment. Give me mind over body anyday of the week.

    Good Books...

The aforementioned classic, 1984, and His Dark Materials trilogy by Pullman. It's meant to be an adult/kids series and it is amazing. The use of language, description and character depth is second-to-none  Also, if you can, read Hemmingway's Essential short stories. What that guy crams into two pages is amazing, an ace read (Y) .

  19. Nope. The majority of the island of Ireland is it's own country under independant rule.

    Free Ipods

They're probably just covering their backs. Loads of places have paragraphs like that.

You are quite the tosser. I was thinking of ways to scam the rental place, I guess I could cancel before one month and then re-apply but surely they'd of thought of that?

    Free Ipods

This is looking none too shabby! I just signed up for my free trial over at Screen Select, the DVD rental place, seems like the best one there :o PS: linky-poo
  23. There's no way I can say an absolute favourite, but there are a few that stand out from the rest: Apocalypse Now Romeo and Juliet (Luhrmann version) The Joy Luck Club Reservoir Dogs The Shawshank Redemption Rogue Trader Trainspotting I think that's it.
  24. The Evil Dead Trilogy; Number two especially. Candyman. Misery. Secret Window.
