  1. A mate of mine used to have a north shore park on his own land they put together and bought a bit of woodland. they just put up signs on every way in, "no trespassing private property" and when you rode it the only rule was anyone crashes you have drag them over the road and call in a rta(road traffic accident) so the trails were never taken down for being dangerous.
  2. We had pretty much all the lapierre zestys from 2012 snapped the chain stays. and one had a frame replaced with the 2013 the cable routing into the headtube caused a load of hassle with the tapered steerer rubbing the hoses. they do ride well, bit have very long chainstays too. the canyons and cube bikes all seem very good value and good bikes i have seen a canyon with cracks recently but don't worry it could be a one off. i would highly recommend a stumpjumper fsr evo. a giant trance Kona process. trek remedy there's loads more bit i like to keep to the top brands
  3. Really nice, looks ace. Now i am going to have to ride the roaches Saturday
  4. I should be up for this. Will check the diary, and ask my little girl if i can have a day of baby sitting
  5. I just caught a 52,000,000 bounty off someone that's just silly. No cash flow worries here. Add me up i will gift you a mill
  6. I was very impressed with the hold on my slx brakes on my 29er i can land to back on small gaps with great hold on 180 rotor. Using the new slx brakes. And i have a see on the front which i think may have better hold than my hope trialzones.
  7. My computer likes me if i run the go pro at 720 x 60 fps. its a low enough setting to help the pc while still keeping a lot of the quality
  8. Really happy. Should be fun trying to learn manuals and bigger bunnyhops. i already done quite a few rolling 180's working toward 360's now. i still have the +100 jaf frame for use in next years comps. Unless this rides well on natural
  9. My bar and stem feel a lot like my mates bike, he is using a 90mm trialtech stem with highrise bars tilted a little bit forward. my 105mm stem on regular tryall elites. Rides well. cheers for the comments glad you like it.
  10. got a new frame for christmas, ride nice
  11. Good fork. The only thing you may find with that model is you can only run the travel either top or bottom, if you try in between hights it will slowy move to the low position. and if you do this too often it will slowly move from the 140/high position too. if you aren't using the travel adjust then put it in 140 and ziptie the adjuster so it won't move
  12. I only found two things i don't like. cucumbers and durian fruit.
  13. Our local pub serves our local beartown beers on tap. and lets us park the bikes in there yard, and come in the ub covered in mud on a Friday night. i like the beartown kodiak.
  14. I think gopro recomend a procesor speed of 3.2ghz. Which far more than most laptops have and a laptop video card wont be good enough. mine is normally quite jumpy while i edit it, then it plays on youtube or vimeo once i upload it.
  15. Looks like a 2x wheel build try a 3x rebuild
  16. Floating/2piece rotors, are stiffer, lighter and help with cooling they also have rivets to hold them together which can come loose or break. regular rotors don't have the above.
  17. Push the pistons all the way back. i find what works well for me is connect the bleed bottle to the caliper. With the pads out ready for bleeding. open the bleed nipple and push the piston back to get some air out of the caliper 1st the finish the bleed as usual from the lever, using the open nipple, pull lever, close nipple, let go lever method. and when its all done for front just clamp the lever over night, with a ziptie. and rear clap the lever with a ziptie and put the bike on its back wheel with the lever blade highest
  18. The inspired forks are really good, stiffest i have had.
  19. Email tartys quick you ordered a tryall bb in 122 your zoot needs a 127.5 mm bb.
  20. Put the disc back on mate. Or buy an avid bb5 or 7. the side pull/ u brakes wont be available with that kind of drop, and if they where the flex would ruin any braking force it has. the hole in the fork is there for mounting a front reflector or mudguard i know ha ha
  21. I just bought myself a ozonys kod frame, inspired element forks, tryall bb and tryall stem.
