  1. Rides ace with the rockman bars on Now i have the jaf 24" for my main street riding. It's time to get serious with the rockman. I already have a neon silver bash plate fitted. Next on my list is, carbon bars, monty race or tryall lite tire on the back. Ti bb, and echo sl forks. All ready for 2013 nationals
  2. Bring it to me I will weigh it I just wanna see it really I like the setup its very similar to my build on the rockman Austin. The weight is quite a suprise but you are running thin tubes front and rear and thosr carbon bar I like s lot. Even then it can't realy be sub 8kg no way
  3. Eat more pies the heavier you are the lighter your bike will feel
  4. 50 quid we will include new fr or sapim spokes for that much Dt spokes not fr
  5. The poc trabec is much lighter than the receptor I use the receptor during winter keeps my head warmer The poc trabec is much lighter than the receptor I use the receptor during winter keeps my head warmer
  6. Back in the day I just bought what I could afford. Genraly onza onza and da bomb. Or any super small jump bike frames.
  7. Who's up for meeting up at congleton, leisure centre Around mid day n ride the park, and town. There's tons of pallets in morrisons loading bay too.
  8. I would say its worth while most of you building at least one wheel. Mainly so you get to grips with trueing wheels so you can fix/patch up broken wheels when out on rides. It could mean walking home or riding. Especially if you run maggies
  9. That Danny tire should be here by march ish I last heard. My mate was good for grip too he was running a maxxis holyroller must have just been amazing combo of snow and ice on rough rocky surface
  10. I have been out in the snow today and was do suprized to find Nt schwalbe fat Albert gripped really well to a rock gap which had a two layer snow setup. There was half melted the frozen snow/ice covered in regular snow. But i still managed a 5' gap from one rock to the other with out wheel spinning or sliding on landing. Anyone got any tips on types of snowy surfaces that are dodgy
  11. Seems there's a moustash theme going on here thought this photo would be good
  12. I have been thinking of getting merrell trail gloves they seem good with the vibram sole
  13. Any one on here seen that ebay advert for a yellow dress. Where the pic has a mirror and the girl was stool in the mirror naked ha ha she must be gutted
  14. Try it if its not for you go back to what you had before. Better to try different angles 1st before getting out cash for new parts
  15. If anyone needs to read up o bike mechanics ect. Google search " sheldon brown " he has a website dedicated to bike mechanics and info regarding bikes. The site doesn't miss a thing either its massivly detailed with trick of the trade.
  16. Roll those bars forward some more. Looks low and close on the rear wheel
  17. Gt85 smells nice but there ate similar oils that don't have anti shit smeller that smell much like car oil
  18. Gt85 I use to disolve thick clogged up oil mixed with dirt on gears before cleaning the setup. Realy gears should never get so bad you need to clean them with 60% paint thinners, 30% perfume, 10% ptfe. This is close to what is on gt85 and most other penetrative oils. If your going to use something to protect and keep your bike shiny, free of corrosion and stop dirt sticking. Use a silicon based spray. Paint thinners sets out rubber seals and dissolves grease. That's why you don't spray the bearings. You can spray silicon all over so long as the wheels and pads are taken off the bike. Mx bikes have used silicon spray for years now.
  19. The spade forks aren't that fat. Similar to my echo urbans. I like this tensioner keeps the chain on much better than the tensile one. And I jyst screw a 3mm screw to switch between the 14 and 15 cog.
  20. Send the pics to a crap phone crop them it fixes the problem
