Same thing happens at competitions though, people line up ready to ride a particular section and try and beat everyone else through it... doing it on the street is just the same principle, having some healthy competition encourages growth and development so you improve and can use the time in between your go's to take note on what works and what doesn't. I know where your coming from though, it does get irritating to see a load of people lining up to do a sidehop when they're surrounded by gaps and ups and stuff, but if they're happy leave em be. I do agree with the point about the sponsored public competitions, that would improve things a great deal. I have to disagree with you there ben, i reckon it could easily be an olympic sport, especially if shooting with shotguns is classed as one. Trials is a ridiculously demanding sport and riders at the top work just as hard, if not harder than a lot of other athletes. If it got noticed or someone physically wrote in asking about making it an olympic sport i'm sure the people who sit down to consider it would agree its easily demanding enough.

Depends if you've told it to deinterlace the clips when you import them or not. I don't know how to change it during import, although i'd imagine it'd be the same sort of thing with the important settings window and a deinterlace checkbox.

I think there was the old deinterlace tickbox in the export settings in premiere, i'm pretty sure there was in premiere 6.0 and i know there is one pro 2. Just when you go to export the movie look at the video settings and read everything, when you find the deinterlace box just make sure it has a tick/cross in and click the big old export button to start exporting it.

I use a KHE on 16:13 and i've not had a problem with skipping at all. I'm not even using a deep toothed rear cog, just a standard 13tooth from a casette. I'd check your chainline or let it bed in properly first, check the tensioner and look at replacing the rear cog.

I just spent £320'ish on a dual core processor 2GB of ram, new PSU, new motherboard and new ati x1900xt. My system is now: 3.1Ghz intel core 2 duo 2GB RAM 160GB hard drive (got a new 250gb one on order for £30) 16x +/-DVDRW 512mb ATI X1900XT Basically, for a lot less money you can get a much better pc system. So chuck in a nice case at say £70, a new hard drive at £40 and a new 22" screen at £159 and for around £600 you've got a system thats easily twice as good.

Its not better, its coded slightly differently. If you make a presentation on a mac and try running it on a pc it doesn't always work properly, if you try it the other way its the same thing. Despite being written with the same program they have problems and conflict with each other. If its any consellation if you make one on a pc and open it with a mac you often find the mac has moved a load of things around and out of place.... ergo macs are shit Can't you download the file on the pc? Or download it and share it across a network?

There are a fair amount of faces that should be, by definition, "fit"... but seem quite lifeless compared to other people. Actually it does matter, a lot. Theres a vast amount of people who get much more of an experience from a game if it looks better, if its more captivating and realistic then the player won't have as hard of a time imaging themselves in such an environment and ultimately they get a better experience of it. Take pc gaming for example. Most people who are really into pc gaming will spend hundreds of pounds buying the very best hardware they can just in order to play the game at a higher detail setting with just a few more fps than they had with their old hardware. Sure you can play a game with crappy graphics and visuals, but if the game DOES look better, 9 times out of ten you'll have a much more enjoyable experience.

When you say you've tried premiere and ulead do you mean you tried the clips in them and they didn't work or that you tried capturing the clips from the camcorder using these programs and it still didn't work.

I was the classic reaper Also went out to bars/clubs all night. Its amazing how well the reaper suit goes down with girls if your really tall. Its even better that i got everything for dead cheap, some bedsheets and a cheapy scythe bonus.

Poopipe knows his stuff, as does haz. Basically, bioshock, orange box, san andreas and crysis are all great games, and crysis looks utterly amazing. This is it playing very smoothly on completely high settings. Good thing i have a new toy (3.0ghz C2D, 2GB ram, X1900XT) I'm having to say... colin mcrae DiRT is also a totally awesome game, the crash models on it are superb.

Ticking the little checkbox in the msn options menu that says something like "automatically run msn at windows startup" or something to that effect will stop the error message i would imagine. Dunno about the other stuff though

I thought the exact same thing, version 7.0 is slightly faster but nothing its nothing too major and its missing some awesome features that cs2 has. cs3 on the other hand isn't such a good leap from cs2, its practically identical aside from a couple of features i'd never use.
