I have to say i really enjoyed it. And i'd like to say thanks for everyone putting up with me not knowing how everything should be done and for helping me out with explaining certain rules and things. I was also extremely impressed with everyone for saying thanks to me for observing, so cheers to everyone for that.

So your gonna go batter your girlfriend? Or go and batter some random guy because of the fact he had the nerve to bed a single girl at a party? Or am i completely off the ball and by rampage you mean your just gonna go batter the first person you see so you feel better?

Its that one. I thought they were nice and long, so it gives more clearance for things like wheelswaps (which i find awkward with smaller WB bikes due to the bikes short length and my long legs). Whilst i never tried big wheelswaps on a limey, my next frame will be 1100 just for the fact its that little bit closer to being the right size for me. They're not awesome because of that alone, but it sets them in the group that very few other frames are in with them being nice and long. The others seem to have silly high bb rise which is annoying and the limeys look nice. If they're around the 1085-1090mm mark they're similar to cheaper frames like adamants, controls and pitbulls... which don't have the reputation of not withstanding everyday street riding like the mk1 limeys.

That may well be who pete said "drazic" was, but pete still uses the Drazic account on the OCUK forums. Its his alter ego forum name if you like.
-
I wasn't around when he first signed up, but i remember browsing the forums while he was still a full member. Drazic isn't a person, its the name of the account pete uses on the OCUK forums He also types 100% properly on the OCUK forums, every time he posts. Having said that though, he's always polite and cheerful on msn and he doesn't feel the needs to bullshit if its just a 1 on 1 conversation too. Yeah, like i said above, drazic is just another name he has on a different forum. Still pete himself

Got it working then man, nice one. All set for brum now

Without lacquer things like greasy fingerprints show up quite well... and the forks will generally get slightly duller as time goes on. You could always just re-lacquer them though. Doesn't take long at all.

Theres not many riders living in leicester anymore, most have gone on to do different things... but theres a load of riders who frequently go there. Its a great place to ride and even though i've moved to loughborough its still only a 10-15 minute train journey away.
-
Anyway, Pete exagerated a bit, nothing major. It was funny and a lot of people just took the piss out of everything he says while others were slightly more ingenious and tried to post up things to completely ruin his claims, either way... most people continue to bring it up thinking their being original and funn when they take the piss out of him. It wasn't that big of a deal, he's actually quite a cool guy to talk to.

Yep, wider rim or tensile offset mounts'll do the job nicely.

To put your mind at rest, tesco's sell laptops at very respectable prices. For just slightly more than the one your looking at you can have this although its not nearly as good spec wise, especially with half the RAM. For £800 you can get one thats about the same as the dell here, but its lamost the exact same spec only a fair bit more price wise, and this is from a cheap brand. Looks like you've found a bargain.
-
I've been very impressed with dells business deals so i'm sure you'll find it VERY hard to get something that close for that sort of price. I think they come with a 14 days return gaurantee as well (i think, i'm not sure so you may want to check) in which case you should be able to send it back should you not like it for whatever reason. I'd say go for it, that things a better spec than my main computer and it costs less than mine did too
-
Looks to be a very good spec indeed. The processors nice and quick and is accompanied with a nice amount of ram so having multiple programs open will be no problem whatsoever. Nice amount of storage space on the hard drive. I'd say the spec looks alright man, as for the price i think thats pretty reasonable. You ordering through dell business deals? They're some of the cheapest deals i've seen available... very good value for money.

Coming from the person who acted like the biggest retard of all in new members chat, was accused of having multiple accounts and posting shit on all of them and even complainaing because you hadn't managed to get validated. The guy asked a decent and honest question unlike half the crap you post. Live with it! Anyway, my red base frame looked wicked with blue rimtape and a blue rear hope hub. I'd say go for blue

I was feeling kind, and you obviously don't understand at all what your trying to do, so i made you a picture to explain. Red lines are things that can't be plugged into each other, and green lines are things that can be plugged in.

I don't know really, maybe you wrote it yourself Having got one of these modems right here on the computer desk now i can tell you now that the socket your trying to plug you ethernet cable from the xbox into the modem won't work because its a line in socket. And as its the only one on the modem there will be no room for the cable from the phone socket to the modem. If you do get hold of an rj45 to rj11 cable (ie a cable with an rj45 connector at one ende and an rj11 at the other) and you plug you xbox in what are you going to do then? Nothing really, unless your going to try and put the usb connector into the phone socket You need to buy a new modem/router, or run the connection through your pc. There is NO OTHER WAY of doing it.

Improved Balance Whilst Rolling As Opposed To Standing Still?
Krisboats replied to Krisboats's topic in Trials Chat
So my weight is focussed on travelling forwards rather than sideways? -
This is most definately true. My rex is comepletely awful with a booster on, in fact i've never seen a rex with a decent brake using a booster. The booster makes the brake quiet, it lacks hold and the pads wear down faster. Taking the booster off immediately resolves the situation, pads make loads of noise, hold well and last longer. I havn't run a booster on my rex in ages now... although theres a slight amount of flex it isn't going to damage the frame.... at least no more than jumping up a bar height wall and dropping 6 foot off the other side It won't be due to frame flex, by the time the frame is flexing there should be significantly enough force applied to the rim to have stopped it... unless your flying down a hill. If its just from normal trials riding it'll be because of the pads rocking on their mount. I'd maybe suggest sanding them completely flat and setting them up nearer to the rim. Which should mean your calipers give the pads more support so they don't wobble as much.

Improved Balance Whilst Rolling As Opposed To Standing Still?
Krisboats replied to Krisboats's topic in Trials Chat
Ah, that makes sense i guess. But is that really the entire reason for it? Because when i'm rolling along i can go in a perfectly straight line, making just a few mm sized adjustments on the bars to keep my balance.... when using your example i only really feel resistance on the wheel when it gets to about 50 degrees from horizontal.
