Just curious really as i was talking to jonny today and i realised i can ride along in a completely straight line without needing to adjust my side to side balance though if i stand still on the bike i can't balance anywhere near as well. Is there a specific reason for this?

Last time i went surfing i was camping all week so i stuck the lenses in when i woke up at around 8.00'ish and the surfing started at 9.00, we were in the water by like 10.00 though (mates had never been before so joined them in the newbie school class). I've never lost one in water though, ever. And i go swimming around once a week usually, goggle'less because i look like a tit in them. Mind you i don't generally open my eyes underwater, the chlorine irritates my eyes after a while so i don't usually do it. Not much point opening my eyes in the sea either as theres usually sand and crap that gets washed in the waves.

Tell them your gonna batter them unless they stop being tits? If they're only small you'll be able to easily grab them by the shirt and pin them up against something should they not really pay much attention to you. Jonny MC used to be quite loud and irritating at times if i get annoyed i tell him to shut up or on a couple of occasions have given him a meaty dead arm and if he's being annoying nowadays i just say he's being annoying and if he stops straight away. He's a really, really good mate now, but when i first met him he was so much louder than he is nowadays and i hated being on rides while he was there.... pretty sure he didn't like me either So you may find just teaching them a lesson once works out for the best and you may get some good mates in the future.

I'd imagine many people just ride because they enjoy it. Though the hot girl would definately be my choice, can always go riding the day after.

Oh dear lord, please tell me you didn't mean other Molotov cocktail? To be fair, i'd go to the nearest B&Q and find myself an axe or something meaty, alternatively borrow the big yellow one from your garage boumsong ... although if i was in a situation where theres several of them advancing on me i can imagine something lighter and easier to swing would be more effective. I'd probably get myself to a supermarket or cornershop and grab a load of food, then head off to coventry air museum and go grab myself a fighter jet (i went when i was young and i was allowed to sit in the cockpit and fire the engines up so i'm fairly sure i'd be able to work the rest out as i went along). I'd head off to the coast and obtain a boat somehow, probably after several low flying machine gun runs on the zombies then i'd sail away to a small tropical island to go and rid it of inhabitants and live out my life in paradise.

I use contacts and still have a thing about eydrops lol. Putting contact lenses in is fine though. Been using daily disposables lately, though i've ran out and have been using the same pair when i go riding every few days. Disgustingly i just stick them in my mouth so they're not dry and crispy anymore and then i whack em back in. Gonna get the 30 day continuous wear ones now though, £17-18 for 3 pairs so they're dead cheap. I also like the idea of not having to worry about them. For riding though, the contact lenses are far better in that you have a much wider field of vision (unless your currently wearing 70's style frisbee lenses) and that the vision isn't distorted... which i found to improve my balance and smoothness enourmously. Used them for surfing and swimming too and never lost one despite some big wipeouts so don't listen to the people who say they always fall out when around water.

Xp and Vista 32 bit will only recognise something like 3.2gb of ram i believe so if you have like 4gb only 3.2 will be used. 64-bit operating systems can see far more so your 4 gb is fully used.

So let me get this straight, your trying to plug the xbox into the phoneline-in socket then the usb one presumably into your computer? Where is the connection going to come from? What you CAN do, is plug the modem into the pc, then plug the xbox into the pc via the rj45 cable and share the internet connection through the computer. 6 meg is definately enough bandwidth to manage the xbox easily through a shared connection as only gaming only uses 10-20kb/s at most... which is why even a standard 512k connection is adequate for them. The other option is to get a router and plug straight into that. They're only about £20-40 so not too much.

Those drive side spokes don't look anywhere near tensioned enough. The drive side needs to have slightly more tension that the non-drive side. Get your wheel in your frame and whichever way the rim needs to go (to the right though in this case) tighten all the spokes on that side by the same amount. If i were you i'd get that wheel in the frame and start with 2 full turns on each drive side spoke to increase the tension then try and get it central by tightening/lossening whichever side is necessary until its bang in the middle of the frame. EDIT: Yeah, you've beuilt it 2x. You need it built 3X i'd imagine. Get all them spokes out and do it again.

There is a vista driver compatability test that you can run before installing vista, and you are in fact recommended to run it. It will go through and tell you which drivers and things will work and which won't.

Yeah but he was ignoring the other guys texts and wasn't replying to e-mails. Decent people don't just take your money and then stop all contact with you and not send the parts for ages. Sounds like he's a shit trader to be fair, and with the way it seems so many people are having problems and his solution of just ignoring people it seems like he's an arsehole too. I guess people will just have to stay clear of him or trade with him expecting such a crappy/non-existant attitude.

Just because you learn or understand it easier in bullet points doesn't mean everybody does. Bullet points are okay for a step by step, but the trashzen website offers explanations (which are written in paragraphs) rather than notes. I learnt many moves from the trashzen site back when i started and it helped me enormously. Its since been bettered with more pictures and animations of the moves so you can see what the paragraph is explaining. I don't think he'll change it all just because you've sent him an email especially considering the work he's put into the site... but you never know, a quick re-cap note style thing-for-dummies might be added in the future after the explanations and videos.

That thing was a work of pure genious. And funnily enough, it was also me who strpped this rex and gave it an industrial look before lacquering it and building it up.

My itunes always crashes if i try adding my music folder from the file menu, i have to drag and drop groups of 10 or so artists at a time so it doesn't crash. Doesn't matter what version of itunes i use or what settings, it just can't handle my music folder without dying. Meh, its okay i guess... media player died with my collection back when it was half the size it is now.
