  1. At that price, you must be joking! Besides, most things play WOW, its not like its graphically demanding In order to fit two he needs an SLI capable motherboard, which he may or may not have. This guy knows his shit! An x1950 is by far the best card available for your price range at the minute. Linky here shows how much better it is than the 7600gt. Almost double as good in fact. Depending on the rest of your computer, this will set you up very nicely... and will walk all over what your currently using, probably stopping for a second or two to stamp it into the mud before continuing.
  2. Internet phrase, own, ownge, pwn.... to beat, master, destroy all others in his class.
  3. It doesn't upset me... i'm just sick of hearing all these tunni/damon/CLS comparisons on the forum and on rides. Why is it so important for people to see someone as being the definitively best trials rider ever? Can't people just look at amazing riders and appreciate how they go about doing things, rather than compare their abilities to the very last inch? Seems rather pedantic.
  4. Call it T-BAY Sorry, just no-one else had said it yet. :$ Sounds alright, i'd probably use it... well if it was up and running i would use it. You are definately going to need to keep users information safe. Have them verify postal addresses as well before allowing them to buy/sell, just so theres no repurcussions if someone sends a recorded item and the recipient says "well i never got it". If its sent to the verified address and the tracking number says its arrived its far easier to get it sorted than just sending it to any old address.
  5. They're very common There is two types of hope pro 2 rear hubs. On is the standard hope pro 2 rear hub, basically a newer version of the old XC/bulb hubs, the other hub is the trials/singlespeed one. It is called the hope pro 2T and features hub bolts rather than QR (though a conversion kit is available), 2 more offset pawls in the freehub meaning more engagements and the hub is made with a smaller freehub body, meaning the wheel is dishless and stronger. Basically, get the trials/singlespeed version.
  6. I practised my rear wheel balance with the front wheel on a bench. It meant i could try hopping on the spot properly (without travelling a foot back each time) and if i fell forwards i could just lean back and start again. Had it nailed without the bench within a week.
  7. I'm the same mate, except with my feet the other way. I can sidehop comfortably and confidently to my right, but to the left always seems to go front wheel first.
  8. Yeah, but most freeview boxes (sub £50) onlyhave scart/co-axial out so you may need a scart to s-video lead first.... or some form of female scart/s-video adapter.

Youtube is also doing the same for me. I think their servers are messed up.
  10. Stupid eh? Skateboarders round here... like most places, ride their boards around and 9 times out of ten at trying a trick like a heelflip just mess it up and land on the floor.... in fact its probably closer to 19 times out of 20. They just jump off things with the board and bail mid air, without really comitting to it. These aren't chavs on boards, these are little emo skater dudes. Now turn up to a ride and whilst people might push themselves on something like a new big gap they've never done, 9 times out of 10 they can actually pull something off without jumping off the bike, and they can usually link moves together in a line.... something that is VERY rarely seen with casual street riding skaters.
  11. He's an arrogant little shit and next time i see him i'm going to batter him! "its a joke muthaf**ka, don't quote me on that shit!!!!" No really, i jest
  12. You always see skateboarders falling off, but unless they're pro you never see them land anything.
  13. Ermm, if i told you i shrunk them by about 60% allready what would you say?
  14. I can't help but feel that isn't the actual size of the chainring though, the fact that its roughly 11% not 12 has me wondering if there could be more problems with that calculation, maybe its going to be more accurate to just measure them with a ruler
  15. I think most places just work on something with your uni's letter on dated recently saying your there. Thats what the banks use for student accounts, if you have a valid NUS/connexions card i reckon they'd take that too.
  16. Ha ha, yeah it was. That tube was over a year old though
  17. Around 12-14 in the front 2.3 tioga tyre. Just under 20psi in the rear 2.5 high roller. I'm 16.5 stone, and am usually fairly smooth, but can bash it sometimes.
  18. So theres really that much difference between 16 and 18 tooth chainrings, based on the fact you only including 2 more teeth and if we're talking about leverage as being the main cause of chain snaps, the radius (half the actual diameter) of the chainring. What size difference is there between the radius on a 16 and an 18 tooth chainring?
  19. Ha ha, nope. Its the complete bike, on inaccurate scales (parcel weighed 19 kg on the same scales but 16.8 on post office digital scales)... Assuming its a level inaccuracy 19kg being 2.2kg out 10.5kg would be 9.4kg on the post office digital scales. If its a geometric innacuracy my bike weighs over 9.4kg but less than 10.5kg.
  20. I filmed it, it is big. I don't know exactly how big but 50 inch sounds about right, bear in mind i'm sat on the floor whilst filming.
  21. I'm pretty sure its just the one build. jonny had been doing some monster gaps all day, it decided to break when he put the power down for doing a roughly 7 foot step-up gap. It is an 06 hub though so hopefully they'll sort it out for free... and i'll have the pleasure of building it back up
