  1. Old rex's were 2.55kg i believe.
  2. Yeah, a little bit... they don't have my hair though
  3. He came over and said hello to us. Loads of people wrote shit on his cast. I think at that point you guys had f**ked off somewhere..... it was before me and you swapped cranks anyway.
  4. Lol, what... like me?
  5. I've already told you, i posted them off. I said i wasn't responsible for postage and you said that was fine. As far as i see it i don't owe you shit. Just f**king try it.
  6. Ha ha, nice one wayne. I know you won't be reading this but fair played all the same.
  7. If theres no "edge" what fills the area the universe is expanding to and what defines the difference, how do you measure its expansion without an edge? It most certainly would be an edge of some sort.
  8. My mate had the steel ones on his azonic. Landed on it loads of time, bent once i think but pair of pliers soon had it back in place. Besides he said he'd be using the horizontals for street and the hanger for gears when in comps. If he gets two hangers he can just saw the hanger off with one and use the steel one for comps.
  9. If i were you i'd look at picking up an avid bb7 caliper from ebay, pick one with the mount for your rotor size 160mm, 180mm or 203mm and use your existing lever. You should see a noticeable difference with the new disk and can upgrade to a new lever at some other point. With regards to the rear, you have two choices. Either way you'll need to buy a whole new brake but you can either go rear maggie or rear vee. With the rear maggie you can pick one up for around £25 and thats your whole brake, though you'l probably need clamps and maybe pads. With the vee you'll need new levers and arms, avid speed dial series are good, as well as some trials specific vee pads like the heatsink backnigs and then you can use any pad material you wish.
  10. I don't get how much everyone bleeds. Mine got a little trickle that was about 2-3 inches long and that was it, no more blood. Some of these have poured all over the place and sokaed into socks/shoes. Is there an actual reason for this (poor circulation, faster blood clotting etc) or is it just everyones different?
  11. Lol, its written in big letters . You shouldn't have said hiding in the background.
  12. I told you to check the hosing. Nice one for getting it sorted though mate, i know you were getting annoyed the other day
  13. Something like this would be the best of both worlds. Horizontal dropouts for streety stuff and mech hanger for comps and what not. This is the dropout for the azonic steelhead so you could buy two hangers and chop the hanger bit off one so you have a streety hanger and a comp one as a spare. To be fair i don't know why companies don't look at doing something like that on trials bikes as it would be ideal really... ah well, if its a custom frame bash them on and be proud to be so ahead of the game.

    Gapping :(

Boumsong used to do it loads, i mean he'd hop back about half a foot. He got the hang of it in the end though... just as you will. You don't really need to hop, in fact try practising gapping on something smaller and don't hop at all, do it ryan leech manifesto stylee where you do one single hop to the edge then one single hop as you gap. This way you'll learn the correct technique where you lower the front end with your arms and body position rather than hopping the front wheel lower. When you get the hang of it do it on bigger and bigger gaps. You want to un-learn what you already do and replace it with the new technique.... which means don't try it on something small and then jump straight onto something big. Keep doing it and it'll stick in your "muscle memory" as being the normal way of doing it.
  15. The old rex was stiff anyway, and it works better without a booster. Hate to sound boring but the old design was nicer, this looks like they've just hydroformed it for the sake of it. All you needed to do with the rex's was make it 300g lighter, and give it 5 or 10mm bottom bracket rise.
  16. Your print heads need aligning Unlucky dude, have you looked into compensation for the reconstruction?
  17. Couldn't find a pic of me on the pc so i used one of jen
  18. Thats where todge usually parks. He says its free and he's never been broken into there, usually pretty empty too. The red dot is the train station, theres more free parking around side streets along there but its usually pretty hit and miss with whether or not you get a space. Linky to map here
  19. You scored as a The Terminator The Terminator can be good or evil. It just depends on who's manipulating his circuits. When he's evil, he's a killing machine. When he's good, he's---well, a killing machine. He often comes back in time to protect certain human beings from other Terminators. He has no sense of stealth or subtlety and will do whatever it takes to accomplish his mission. He has a curious penchant for sunglasses and seems to enjoy mimicking human slang. The Terminator 100% James Bond, Agent 007 63% Maximus 58% Indiana Jones 50% Neo, the "One" 50% Lara Croft 46% El Zorro 17% William Wallace 17% Captain Jack Sparrow 13% Batman, the Dark Knight 0% The Amazing Spider-Man 0%
  20. But alas, when you pull the lever your brake goes warbling everywhere (warble is a pulsating vibration where it grips and doesn't grip etc) it feels a bit nasty and i'd advise against getting a spiky rotor. The avid rotors and hope mono trial rotors are excellent though.
  21. Use lots of selotape? Eventually if you use enough it should feel "softer" as it compresses under you hands. If you don't have enough pad it out with something soft like kitchen sponge, old socks or grass. Cover the "padding" with tape and tadaaa! You have your new grips.
  22. Sounds like you've either got air in there or a leak. The spongyness would be the air in the brake and it will feel like its stopped dead if the piston in the lever bottoms out. Go round and check all the connections and the pistons, make sure theres no water coming out of them. If they all seem fine and theres no water anywhere along the brake give it a re-bleed as it sound like you have air in it.
  23. I take it thats why theres a hole in the end of the bars in that picture? Thats funyn as f**k, i can't believe someone was retarded enough to nail grips to the bars Looking sleek though danny. Spray your bars and lever white too and it'll look mental. Like the opposite of stealthy... like an angel.... ..... Dude, paint a halo on the f**ker lmao

    Mac's

Definately don't expect to use it for gaming... unless you like the chess game that comes with OSX. Other than the graphics card, it looks like it should edit videos and things quite happily.
