  1. These guys know it. Leicester is well up there on the list of good places, just nobody goes there
  2. The hi-fi's i've been on felt terrible. They felt so short it was silly and the chainstay length did not suit the amount of bb rise in the slightest. The zenith however is a much better geometry.
  3. Over the next 2 weeks. And its been on the royal mail site, notices in the post office and its been on the news/in the newspaper.
  4. If your constantly bruising your legs tapping and bunnyhopping you need a bigger bike, plain and simple.
  5. Mine hit at the same time and i have a normal crossover. Its not hard to set it up properly, just most people can't be arsed hence most people having one that hits before the other.
  6. Take the stem stackers out and cut the steerer tube down a bit Change your rear mech for a tensioner or at the very least drill/grind the unneccesary bits off your mech. Drill your rims.
  7. Yeah thats pretty much the jist of it. Some people get confused and think of it as the fluid has to travel to the end of the second piston before it moves, when it just doesn't work like that. As you pull the lever the pressure inside increases and both the pistons get forced out, whichever one moves first depends on various things like how good the bleed is, how well the seals are lubed, if the seals are torn and even how hard the mount is clamped onto the caliper.
  8. # We regret there will be limited delivery services on Saturday 28th July. # Collections on Saturday 28th July will be limited to a single collection from Post Boxes outside of Post Offices and these collections may be earlier than the normal advertised times. # We will do all we can to deliver Special Delivery items, but Special Delivery Saturday guarantee will be suspended for Saturday 28th July. If they don't deliver it your going to have to wait. They won't have delivered it because they won't have sorted it, meaning you can't just go and collect it unless you receive a red card through your door telling you to do so.
  9. My mum just got one similar to this. We went into tesco's and they had them on offer with a faster processor and a larger hard drive for the same price as this one. The build quality is fantastic and it has been absolutely problem free. The screen is lovely and crisp with bright vivid colours and its fast enough for everything we've thrown at it. Dual core processors help with multi-tasking so you can encode videos/music/etc while the laptop performs quickly as you watch a movie or browse the net. If your getting a new laptop get one with vista, the networking options are much better and far easier for novice users to setup and maintain... ideal for a laptop. Don't go lower than 1gb of ram, as rich said. Especially with vista, though you can always buy a small flash card and stick it in the card reader and vista uses "readyboost" to format the card for use as extra ram, which actually does make a noticeable difference. Hard drive space should be around 80-120gb for your budget. Screen just needs to be big enough and crisp. Obviously the laptop needs to be well built. Good cover support is a must with a laptop, warranties that cover accidental breakage/theft are very much needed for soemthing so portable and appealing in the eyes of a thief.
  10. Was out in the garden today playing on the lawn. While i didn't get the actual bail, i got a bit of the aftermath a bit of competition against the slighter longer but not quite as deep shin dig Recorded on my phone so i apologise for the quality, will be ready when youtube finish processing it.
  11. Actually, when compared to equivalent high end nokias that were available at the time its very fast and less prone to freezing.
  12. Did you not learn from the first time i did that?
  13. Pinch gaps help give more bounce on take off so its easier to get your back wheel high in mid air, which means your further over the front. Try it, front gap on the flat and then take off with your rear wheel on the edge of the take off, having it on the edge helps a lot.
  14. There was a coust a while back with a very similar spec that went for £200
  15. Am i right in thinking you have to bleed it from each side of the calipers seperately or can you do it some other way?
  16. Yeah, what time mate. Meh, feck it... i'll ring you.
  17. Because people think all koxx's snap really easily. I don't think i've EVER seen or heard of one of these breaking, supposed to be damn strong frames. Looks good dude, no more pogo-stickage
  18. Seeing as its a leaf spring design you'll also need the right shape of metal too. Its not your conventional coiled spring.
  19. Me? Nope. I enjoyed it... hence saying it was good right after i did it Nailed it afterwards though. EDIT: Thought i'd post the worst shin-dig i've ever seen. Linky
  20. Could be worse, we could have pythons or pitbulls lmao.
  21. I'm not happy. Those are poor reasons you quit so you could get new clothes and a new phone lol. I understand about time with the mrs, but just getting a job would have the other things sorted and you'd be able to keep your bike. Its summer, you can get a job at a supermarket or soemthing for a couple of days a week and you'd have enough money for new clothes and a phone as well as days free to ride and see the mrs. Can't believe your quitting you filthy on-off'er . Video was alright though... except that "music". Some beasty drop gaps in there.
  22. I'm pretty sure that was sarcastic It had the rolleyes and everything Yeah, the lower back pains are normal when your just starting out. Hell, even if you just spend a couple of hours trying to improve your gapping distance after you've been riding a while you still get aches in your back. Its because your muscles aren't used to it. It'll fade though as you get better and i'm 20 myself... i love riding.
  23. I actually LOL'd. It does seem as though you are making up excuses to justify it. I mean, firstly, as far as i was aware the master piston is in the lever . So your still using a master and slave system because both the calipers are slave pistons. Its easier to set up? How exactly? I mean, once both your calipers are in the mounts it doesn't matter how the cables are attached, you only have to hold them in the right place and tighten the clamps up. There will also be absolutely no difference in pressure inside the hose as its a completely sealed unit. So as long as its sealed at both ends theres going to be the same amount of pressure regardless of using a crossover or a splitter. Congrats for making what i believe is the first braided hose splitter, although i still don't see the point in them other than not having a corssover to tear off. With the splitter the cables can be attached to the stays and are generally more out of the way.
  24. Maybe he likes them? But seriously, this is a BIG deal. He obviously saw soemthing in you that was worthy of getting your uni course and everything paid for, something that i would feel absolutely fantastic about, the fact that a random stranger obviously liked my ideas and recognised the sort of skills he'd want in an employee and how he'd made the decision to put himself out of whats quite a bit of money nowadays. Like jake said, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, make the very most of it and get yourself on the road to recovery as soon as physically possible. If people can have the determination to re-learn how to walk after horrific accidents where they'd been told they'd never walk again then i'm sure you can have an upbeat attitude. Someone from aston martin liked you and your ideas and has just given you a free pass to get a f**king amazing start in life. DO NOT THROW THIS CHANCE AWAY!
