So you promptly fell off and hit your balls on the little bit of metal sticking out that hideous yellow frame you used to have?
-
That front tyre does not look right in the slightest. 2 tyres the same size or it'll look stupid.

Okay, made a bit of a video on how to grind rims, first one so don't know how good you'll all find it. I tried to cover everything i can think of, but i'm sure i'll have fogotten some things.... just seems to help me do things if i see someone esle doing it first so i thought i'd try and help. Anyway, here it is... needs to be split into two parts for youtube as its over 10 minutes long. Forum doesn't have an embedding option for it either so sorry, its a direct link. Bliptv link

I didn't mention taps because they shouldn't be done on a mod anyway

QUOTE(joe b @ Jun 26 2007, 01:24 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I'm not quite as small as i used to be, mate . Haha... And, don't get me wrong, i'll ask Tarty just to check up. But, i was just wondering, that's all... Cheers, Joe. Jakes right, having a longer wheelbase/shorter wheelbase due to new forks won't affect how long it feels in any way shape or form. If your going to be keeping the same bars/stem/frame then the only thing it'll do is 'maybe' alter the point of balance slightly, and obviously bridge gaps will have a different size. The only time you should consider the wheelbase with regards to your size is when changing frames, as it vaguely represents the overall length of the frame, though with bb rise and stuff nowadays it makes sod all difference to be honest as a form of definate measurement, as a higher bb will make the bb-headtube size smaller than a level bb bike and will make what would ordinarily be a longwheelbase feel much shorter. Its the bottom bracket to bar clamp length that'll need changing if you want it longer.

Looks well smart, i can imagine it being pretty damn strong as well, i'd certainly want one.
-
Give the "all in one codec pack" a go. Type it in on google. Its the one i'm using, plays super smooth on my old school laptop too.
-
To be fair, i didn't even take the wheels out the frames/forks when i did them :$

Its often a good idea to twist it in an anti clockwise direction while pulling it so the pawls dont rip the seal as you pull them out. At least you did with XC/mono/bulb hubs, having not opend my pro2 i wouldn't know for sure.... can't hurt to do it anyway though.

Still not photoshopping though.... its gimping Can you imagine saying that in a meeting... "heres some images of the new building designs i gimped up earlier".

Because he changes when theres a load of digital members looking at what he says. Bullshit is a made up collection of events. So is a story... ergo, they're both the same. No it doesn't. If you were to add him to msn and ask him a sensible question or even ring him up, you'd soon see he's a decent guy and how friendly he is. He's obviously not a tosser if he's frinedly and helpful is he .... seems to me your calling him a tosser without knowing hardly anything about him. Its like me calling you a tosser because you have a piss poor avatar picture, its just not enough basis for it.

That looks wicked dude. I'd have loved that as my first bike. Should suit you very well indeed. Dust caps are a bit OTT though.
-
Errr, no you wouldn't. I've never taken the spokes out when doing it, and thats with a 16mm drill bit.
-
Ha ha, nah... CS2. I've found loads more stuff to do in CS2 than i ever did with 7.
-
The threshold images look a bit naff, but the blue bar one looks quite good. In your drop gap pic, try and remove some more of the brick wall, it'll make it less obvious. BTW, its not really photoshopping if you didn't use photoshop
-
Sorry, was being a bit stubborn yesterday. I get what you mean, and should've let it drop really :$

The search function is there for a reason If your sad enough to be interested use that.... he isn't coming back. Exactly, not a lot more needs to be said. And to everyone saying he's a cock and a tosser etc.... he isn't. He's a decent guy to talk to and whenever i've spoken to him outside of internet forums hes been polite and helpful. Just seems to enjoy making stories on the internet for people to read for whatever reason. Doesn't make him a tosser in the slightest.

Jesus christ people. Just let it drop. I'm sure you'll all find new topics in which you'll bitch like girls and take the piss out of someone for whatever reason.

It did with me yeah, kickstarted my rise from lazyness and i found i had more force to put behind my gaps and things. For some reason i suddenly had more TRA bouncyness too -
I said potential price If they give it away they can't make the money they potentially could if they sold them at retail. Sure they could order more stock, but they still miss out on the extra money they could have had should they not have sold it.

Loved it, the colours and vibrance in the video is astounding and ran crystal clear on my computer. The only slight niggle with it is the slow motion doesn't look quite right, like it jitters slightly... normal speed was fine though. Thoroughly impressed, expect to see many more as well

Don't go to the gym so don't know what all these fancy things are. I'm 6'5", 36 waist, 16.5 stone (thin, not belly flab) and just have random weights lying around. I can do 3 sets of 12 reps with 36kg on the dumbells, and can JUST lift the 55kg monster dumbell once with no reps and a lot of sturggling Had a go with a benchpress at my mates house, ran out of weights for it at 65kg, then we went unbreakable (bruce willis film) stylee and stuck some paint cans and things on too, did pretty well with that, all i know is it was damn heavy. I go jogging round the football field a couple of times with 35kg of weights in my backpack. 'Might' get round to joining a gym/getting actual weights someday soon. -
+80mm and 1200WB Is also his username on the OCUK forums.

If it was me i'd be looking for an ultimate lever off ebay. The XTR ones are horribly small and not as comfy as the avid levers.
