  1. To be fair, theres nothing wrong with his last posts. He's answered questions and contributed to the topics in a positive way. Its not like this was a bad post either. And it made quite a few people laugh at both how happy he was for being post 200, and the fact he wasn't actually post 200. I just think someone had a bad day and took it out on him to be honest. Dress it up how you want, if its gonna be the last bit of warn % for a 7 day suspension (i know you can check before you give them out) then i don't think its fair to suspend him on something that petty. I even read somewhere by one of you mods/admin that if its the final bit of % before a suspension/ban then your given more le-way as to getting away with soemthing. Guess that principle went out the window there. Sorry if i'm a nice enough person to think suspending someone for writing that is totally over the top and quite arrogant.
  2. Imagining that scenario is hilarious, you blatantly didn't say fanny though
  3. I'd get premium too. Home is very very basic Plus with premium you get the funky windows sliding option.
  4. Yeah, upload the picture somewhere or email it to me at krisboats@hotmail.com and let me know what size, what colours and what kind of style you want and i'll tell you how much roughly it would be and how long it would take to do.
  5. Okay, seems theres a few people who would like them, drop me a PM or add me to msn and i'll have a chat to you about what you would like doing.
  6. this things OLD, saw pictures of that ages back. We established it had a weird downtube then too
  7. Wasn't a filter. You copy the image, use the threshold adjustment and choose a setting with large areas of colour, colour this a lighter colour than the other colours you plan to use. Copy the original image again and do the same thing, choosing a threshold with less colouration, then change the black areas again to a colour slightly darker than the other, cut this out and paste it as a new layer without a background fill and place it in line with the lighter layer before it. Keep doing it working up the darkness of your colour for each layer. The one i chose had a white background, three shades of grey and a black top layer.
  8. Yeah, changed the photoshop images out . £2 for a tube of paint, lasts about 30-40 canvas's so £10 of acrylic isn't gonna happen . And as for the time:price ratio. I can't imagine many riders wanting to spend much on a painting when they could be buying bike parts, hence the lower prices. Not really sure if theres a great demand for them thats why i asked. I'm going to move onto bigger pictures for ebay and put them and more profitable prices, but bear in mind... i'm only just starting out. Selling a picture at all is a big personal step.
  9. Yeah i can do them in different colours, and A3 will be about... £4 for a canvas Probably about £4.50 postage.
  10. Well its light, so postage would be about £3, canvas for this piece was £1.50, paints are like £2 for 30-40 paintings worth. Took about just under 3 hours to do, so like £12-15 would be ideal i reckon. Obviously easier pics would be much cheaper, bigger canvas's slightly more expensive, but i'm not into that whole charging £50+ per picture. Realistic prices ***!
  11. Think he means the size of the wheel in the photo. Things get smaller as they get further away, back wheel is bigger so its closest to the camera. Just looks odd when you try and look at it the other way, as if he has some silly 16" front wheel.
  12. They are pretty tough yeah, their bound to thick wooden slats on the back, and i'd pad the inside with polystyrene or bubblewrape then put sheets of thick cardboard each side to stop it getting punctured. Then wrap it all up and put it in a box.
  13. Okay, here it is... fully finished now, cables and all
  14. Cheers dude ! Took about 2 1/2-3 hours or something like that.
  15. Here we go, finished product. Thats on a 24cm X 29cm canvas, painted in acrylics. EDIT: Nearly finished, forgotten brake cables :$
  16. 56 and 54 diameters aren't they for left and right... making a difference of 1mm per side. Not really enough to warrant 2 sets of spokes.
  17. But this same rule applies to both... "if your too skint to buy, find a friend and try"
  18. Its a bit of the old random answer situation Person 1: You want beans on toast for dinner or boiled horse turd? Person 2: Yes Person 1: and thats to which possible answer? Try a vee out, you might be pleasantly suprised
  19. Like a pair of forks?
  20. half way through painting number one
  21. DB it is then, i think i've clipped spokes on a wall/rock about 3 times in my entire riding days.
