just bought a powerball :- got the neon red version from ebay for £21.50 posted. Just wondering if anyone here still uses them? I remember the TF craze for them a few months ago :- . Are they as good as they seem? Helped your fitness at all? Cheers :)

So the pro 2 t has 2 pawls engaging at one time? with 4 in total?
-
Profile rear hubs dont have cones, you just press the driver onto the hub body. What joe said above will work if its your cog thats loose, it tightens the driver lockring. 36mm spanner size.

lighter to pull, quicker retract, cheaper and easier to bleed
-
Shouldnt need to rebleed it. If its got a bit of air in, just loosen off the TPA, take off the grub screw at the lever, pull the lever in till you see fluid rising up (with no air bubbles). Slowly retract lever while dripping water in. Sorted. oh and make sure you do it with the bike lying down so the grub screw is facing upwards, obviously

I suppose its got more detail, but i dont like it at all really. Would prefer if it didnt have all the products down the left side, but different sections (like hopetech.com). They could maybe have 'Products', 'Technical', etc on the left side, when clicked expand into more links. The colour scheme is also pretty nasty. I think theyd be better off improving the hopetech.com site instead, which i have no problems with anyway though.

Same happened to me tonight  had to carry my bike for ages in the freezing cold. I doubt itd break your maggie, but its best to unscrew your tpa if it starts to freeze so that it can expand without too much pressure. I'll probably put antifreeze in mine tomorrow...

Damn i always thought urbans were longer than fattys :D . I love my fattys and how stiff and well made they are, but my bike just feels......wrong. its really hard to lift the front up. Probably just because its long i guess (about 1090 wheelbase). Sticking with my fattys it is
-
I'm thinking they might be longer and will suit my echo control bike more.I have to use loads of headset spacers at the moment as the fattys are pretty short.
-
Nass will probably be like the new bike show as thats now being held at the NEC
-
Anyone know the length of echo urban forks? and what do you all think of them? I'm thinking of swapping my fatty R forks for my mates basically unused echo urban forks, and a tenner. Let me know what you think (Y) cheers.
-
Don't do it for too long though...i put mine on the hob for a while and the compound ended up falling off the backing :P
-
I swapped the ball bearing + grub screw for a normal grub screw out of my hs33 lever. much better :shifty:
-
Yeah but would be easier? Up to you anyways, will have the same effect :shifty: . I suppose boring out the rb will be better as the rb lever sometimes clips the sides on hs33 bodys
-
Might aswell just put the rb lever blade in a magura body then though? and you wont get any leaking problems at all
-
Bleed the rb in exactly the same way as a normal lever :shifty: Have you got spare seals? If not, i think heatsink still sells them, or if not, ive got about 15 in my garage. To change them - Take the master cylinder apart by putting a small allen key through the bleed hole. This will pop the piston out (white thing with 2 black seals). Get the old seals off by using a small but not sharp object... i used a ballpoint pen. Get them off, replace em, sorted. Can be a bit tricky, try to 'roll' the new seals on from the sloped side. And i dont think magura pistons will fit in rb lever bodys.....the whole point in an RB is the smaller piston, so its more powerful.

Why are you lot all so aggresive........someone posts about online poker and you get about 10 sad acts moaning about how hes on trials-forum for a bit longer than the average male. GET OVER IT
-
I use water, its better in every way really....ive only had 1 maggie to ever leak with a water bleed, that was about a year ago. Lever returns faster, as do the pads so you get no sticky pistons usually. Easier to pull, easier to bleed (Y)
-
Does it slip if you apply the brake and then pedal forwards? thats usually the way i test my brakes (Y)

I used to play texas hold em online at http://www.betfred.com when they had $750 freerolls. I won one freeroll where i got £100 (Y) and managed to get around £300 in total in the end. Theyve stopped the $750 freerolls now and they have measly $100 ones, where you get about $14 if you come first, after 4 hours of play... Still good fun though, and theres a lot of retards on there. If you get good, play heads up poker, i used to get lots of money fast on that playing 50$ heads up, and just play really aggresive, lots of bluffing. So yeah, betfreds good (Y) (Y) and dont try playing roulette like i did, i could swear its rigged...

I dont get how you can have a unpowerful avid on a 20" (Y) are you sure its all set up properly? did you do it as the manual said? any oil got near it lately? Could also try pouring water on it and doing the bedding in process. You shouldnt have bought ebc pads imo, the normal avid pads are awesome.

i'm in my 2nd year of college doing Physics, Geography and ICT. Its going alright.... also took Biology AS but dropped it as i got a D. Ive applied for a foundation engineering course for uni, so i dont need maths to get in, and if i pass the first year it means i can go into a lot of science and engineering degrees, e.g. mechanical or computer science.

I went from a monty (which hurt my back like a bast) to a python, which i had for about 6 months or so........then i decided to sell up and managed to get a 2nd hand stock pretty cheap. As soon as i got it it felt a lot better than my python to be honest...i feel like you can really power it and the bike wont feel sketchy. On my python i felt and looked really really sketchy all the time, and landed moves pretty heavily........i prefer stock LOOOOOOOADS more. Although my static ups were a lot better on my mod, but stocks still more fun (Y) . I loved my monty, except my back hurt for months after riding it.

Cant help with the pad dilemma but where did you buy your material from, and how much was it? cheers (Y)

Use your legs more on the rowing machines and go slow but powerful and you will get further (Y) then again doing that doesnt muscle up your upper body as much.
