  2. Just given my king hub a quick service, cleaned out all the splines etc with WD40, and now it definately sounds louder. I used a tiny bit of castrol everyman light oil on the splines instead of the tr-flo they recommend, and didnt clean out the ringdrive so much so that the old grease is still in there. But i wanna get some ringdrive grease so i can service it properly....anyone know where i can get it in the UK, or anyone know of very good replacements? I heard Finish line green XC wet lube is good - should i use this instead? Thanks.

    Brake Pad

Might be because steve uses old pad backings that riders send him to make the pads, so they could be really old pad backings?

    Alex 26" Rims

True. Will probs just get a ronnie rim (Y)
  6. Yeah the red pads are the softest overall, the green pads were the softest on that webpage. Reds are meant to be pretty amazing, i used greens on my hope mini and they werent bad, good modulation and grip (although not as grippy as hope pads i found). I'd go for EBC reds if you can find them.

Anyone know where i can buy alex dx32 rims from? cheers. noz.
  9. ^ Green is the softest, gold has little bits of metal in it i think, and last longer.
  10. Bleed it, and make sure its all set up right at the wheel. My favourite way is let all the air out of your tyre, and pull on it on one side so you can fully see the brake pad on one side - so you can see if its flat to the rim. Then set it up so its as parallel as possible, and do the same for the other pad. Bleeding is very very easy - takes about 5 minutes and is much easier than most people think.

aliens attacking earth cause humans to build up loads of weapons to kill them and end up using up all of the fossil fuels so theres none left to run the furnace.
  22. Hey all...at the mo i have tryall bars and a kore stem. It's ok and i like the bar width but its way too low for manuals and i feel like im strugling to lift up the front with backwheeling. Its an echo control 2004 frame with fatty r forks. So what do you guys recommend? Do the tryall stems have quite a bit of rise to go with the height of the bars, or is it best to get a whole new bar/stem combo? Theyre the older tryall bars with ordinary clamp size (25.4mm) Cheers. Noz.
