Hey all...just got cable tv in my room and the box uses a scart lead but i also have an xbox which uses a scart lead aswell, and i only have 1 socket in my TV. I found a double scart adapter online but i dont get how it works - is there a switch to change between each scart socket or do i need AV1, AV2, AV3 on my TV (which i dont have) Cheers. Noz.

I think its fine as it is. Powerful enough with good pads and a grind, and if it was more powerful then it would have problems like mushyness and harder to set up.

Got some echo team forks 2nd hand a while ago and i want to replace the star nut as im trying to sort my headset out... the starnut doesnt seem to want to fit though as the steerer is a lot thicker than normal, and the star nut that is in at the moment is bent around the sides loads so its obviously just been bashed in. Do i just bash a normal size star nut in there somehow or are there different sizes? Cheers. Noz.

I got some a few days ago and theyre the best hold on pads ive had before, and really good bite aswell. Theyve worn down about 2mm after 3 rides though, but as theyre £6 i thought id give em a try and they are ace pads if you run a lighter grind.

Cheers waynio. just set it all up with a medium-ish grind, and the brake is nothing less than awesome! Without bedding in theres the proper honking noise and really good hold. Theres a little bit of slippage there but its all set up perfectly so itll probably just need bedding in. Very pleased, will probably order another 3 sets as theyre £6 (Y)

Just got my heatsink honigs pads this morning. At the mo im using a smooth rim, with a bit of tar with zoo pads. But im sick of tar to be honest so i want a grind again. Can anyone tell me about experiences with honigs and a grind? I'll try to do a light one but i want my brake to work aswell (Y) and ive heard the honigs are soft.

Just downloaded some south park episodes and when i play them theyre annoying shakey on windows media player and twins (only players ive tried). The sound is perfectly fine and ive got all the codecs so i have no idea what the problem is... can anyone help? Cheers. Noz.

I use this stuff: Just go to any DIY shop and ask for loctite threadlock. Other brands work fine aswell but i always prefer to go with loctite.

They do, because i bought one a while ago :D. You have to take it apart and mess around all day to get it off. Loctite it, itll never come loose, and it takes 5 minutes literally. I've done it on about 5 claws :D Just read youd loctited it before but it didnt work.......sooo..........buy a brand new standard acs claw from tarty bikes. Take the lockring off carefully making sure you dont make any ball bearings fall out etc etc. take off the little washers inside. Clean the thread on the lockring, and the thread on the freewheel with petrol or similar, making sure that you dont get any on the ball bearings. Wipe with a cloth and leave to dry. If you're using petrol itll evaporate so its easy. Put a moderate amount of loctite on the LOCKRING ONLY. If you put it on the freewheel aswell you risk getting it on the bearings. Screw it on, leave for around an hour, put it on the crank, go ride. It won't come loose. If it does, youve not done the above properly, because mine never failed me :P . Sorted!

Use loctite (Y) you can service the freewheel, it costs less, and on the welded ones they angle grind the removal tabs off. It takes about 2 minutes to do aswell, just take the lockring off, whack some loctite on it and screw it back on :) .

Just ordered some (Y) . Not tried these pads out yet but they sound good.
