  1. If it was me i would honestly go for square taper. IMO if you keep the cranks very tight, they are better than ISIS. The bearings are bigger and so stronger than ISIS and its also a hell of a lot cheaper considering you can get a good Taper BB for just £15. Noz.
  2. If you have his home address, hassle him with abusive letters, e-mails etc. - You'll get what you want in no time!
  3. Don't feel sorry for yourself because you got screwed about by 1 person....all you have to do is buy a different bike..... Meh, each to his own! Noz.

    Ss Tensioner

That looks seriously good :S . Nice one!
  5. I agree with you mate... I've never used ISIS cranks but considering the cost, and from what I've heard from numberous people....why bother? There is nothing wrong with tapered cranks at all. The cranks are cheaper, good BBs come as low as £15 (shimano UN52) and all you need to do is keep them tight! Noz.
  6. That video is mintos! Best trials video ive seen so far I think (Y) . Nice one (Y)
  7. Cheers mate  I'll cya there. What time is everyone going down there? Is it in one of the other posts? I'll be in Abingdon in the morning anyway so I can just come on down anytime . Cheers, Noz.
  8. DJ you were the nicest guy, you will be truly missed and never forgotten by me and so many others. Rest in peace. Noori.
  9. Depends which hub you are using.
  10. For my front V I use avid RW2 pads, they are very nice, long lasting, lots of bite and modulation also. They are also cartridge pads which is a plus. For my rear magura I use plazmatic CRM pads available from EZTrials for £16. OK modulation but I prefer on/off style brakes myself anyway. Lots of hold, no slide at all if rim is clean. Noz.
  11. Quality.... No point bumping this post though, its long gone... Mods you can lock it if you want.
  12. Noyce ill have to invest in an angle grinder then :( . And I did it because I dont have an angle grinder, and if I did I wouldnt be arsed to take my wheel off the frame and tyre off the wheel :( . Still a fairly good grind, ill try out an angle grinder soon! Oh and a dremel is like a mini drill thing that you get various heads for (e.g. wire wool, sandpaper, blah blah blah!)
  13. I just did little lines vertical across the surface really close together and used the tip so they were quite thin. Seemed to have worked ill see how long it lasts!
  14. Yeah thats what mine feels like at the mo, not tried in the wet yet though..might have to just chuck some water on my rim and see what happens  . As mine is done with a dremel though id imagine its a lot worse than an angle grinder. I just cant be bothered to take my wheel & tyre off and angle grind every so often :(
  15. I just ground both sides of my rim with a dremel sanding attachment at the tip and it seems to have worked a treat, no slide at all with plazmatic pads. Just wondering - Anyone else here use dremels to grind? It is very shallow but it seems to make the brake better so I think its alright :shifty: . Any comments on that? And - Anybody else used plazmatic CRMs with a light grind? How long do the pads last usually? Thanks! Noz.

    Warranty

are you sure monty ones fit on onza t-pro/bird s? They have an extra bit of frame that the bash sits on so its not the same shape? Noz.
  18. Give them a ring (altough im guessing itd be quite expensive from the netherlands?)
  19. Exactly the same happened to my friend Paul, but from a different shop and just a rear magura. Just spray it yourself! (Y)

    Tyre Preasures

I ride mod with Luna tyres. I usually use 30-35 psi on rear and 40 psi up front. Althought on my crap old onza t-bird I had to run about 40-45 psi or id get pinch flats straight away because of the rubbish BMX tyres. Can running a high pressure buckle your wheels faster? because there isnt as much shock absorbance and it goes into the rim, or am I just thinking complete garbage? :- Noz.

  23. ok, a few questions... mark - would u be able to write a spec for your bike (the build with the rusty t-bone frame)... also - I heard that the t-pro 04 frame is the same geometry as the koxx levelboss? is this true? no biggie just wondering really. and im also very interested in the T-bone frame or T-pro frame - how much will the t-bone be on release? approx. same for t-pro. and will they both be available in march? thanks much
