  1. hello, what do you think/ know about the echo tr rim brake? Is it stronger and better than a normal hs33 (2004 model)? thanks, julian
  2. broken hs33 adjustment bold from the 2004 model i thought it could not break but it happened i tried to adjust my brake but there was noting happening. so today i got every thing apart and saw it was broken.
  3. jojo you can send a email on there site www.monty.es . i have now an echo lite fork and it is soooooooooooooooooooooo cool. rambo
  4. jojo what year was the fork build because i broke my monty fork 221 ti (2004) to ad the exact place but it happened almost 2 years ago and i sanded a email with pictures to www.monty.es and the told me that it could be one of those incorrect build ones (the first production series) and the sanded me a new one .
  5. jo i have broken my monty 221 ti frame from 2004 in like 1 year or something. and i broke the monty fork and the monty cranks:P
  6. jojo i think that you need to tighten the spokes
  7. he thanks for the replies the forks i got from tartybikes . well i don't know how it really rides because my foot hurts from the day i bought my new frame but as far as i rode it it rides very good i Had a Monty 2004 but i broke it then i bought a zoo python 2005 long but i like Monty more because it is a bit shorter so after 1 year of zoo pleaser i bought a Monty again and the zoo is hanging beautiful on the wall.
  8. 9. are some of you guys only replying on stuff or do you read the other replays as well? i told before even a weld will be broken and locktite doesn't work and epoxy doesn't work either. afz rambo
  10. i don't know if you should do a fox fork in that beast a marzocchi fork is really good and cheaper. and i am a really great fan off magura brakes the are easy to refill and the do a really god job if you go for the magura buy the louise or the louise fr the gustav m is expensive and only for the serious job you know like the guy bender and others. for cranks and stuff buy a shimano finishing set with: hubs, cranks, shifter, gears and stuff the deore are cheap and do a great job. and if you are working in a bike shop build yourself a set of wheels, with some mavic rims or something that is strong and the shimano hubs. hope this was helpful. afz, rambo
  11. in holland it is very normal to run your right brake lever on the back brake and the frond brake on the left but we simply switch the hoses from right to left and than you have right on the back. but i think that the now do it in the factory for uss because it was 2 years ago that i needed to do it for the last time. afz, rambo
  12. now that isn't true because i rode with a bit lose chain but it didn't worked it was getting lose every time so the only thing that worked for me was a weld. afz rambo
  13. if you mean the ring that keeps the freewheel form falling apart. than there is only one thing weld it, but only to the center of the freewheel otherwise your chainring will not move enymore . this is as far as i know the only solution because i tried to locktite it and i tried to glue it with epoxy but it was coming loose and even when i welded it the weld was broken but it couldn't come lose because it wasn't fully round enymore because of the weld that was on it . now i ride with a freewheel in the rear and the problem is over . you have a freewheel that is already welded tartybikes afz rambo
  14. thank you all for the replys. i have put on the monty stem again because it looks great and works fine
