  1. Nice! Thanks for sharing. I nearly pulled the trigger on a 240 for my MTB recently, but 90 EPs will be even better. Glad I waited / forgot now, haha.
  2. Tensioners now available, first batch sold out overnight but we've got some more made up: TartyBikes RD Hybrid Tensioner Cheeky Disc Protector including a slot (rather than the usual hole) at the axle end so it can be fitted and removed easily. This allows you to use the slot at the bottom as disc straightener tool: TartyBikes RD Disc Protector 'Wideboy' brake booster also now in stock, ready for release of V-Brake adaptors in the near future: TartyBikes RD 'Wideboy' V-Brake Booster
  3. Thank you πŸ™ I've never actually heard of Boulhol until just now. That frame and the wheels are absolutely wild! So cool.
  4. Glad you are enjoying it! Went out in one of these at Oulton Park recently and it was a right thing. Felt much more lively than the usual FWD stuff like Golfs etc. Really impressive.
  5. Well that were reet good 😎 thanks again for leading such a cracking route Luke, definitely keen for another sometime. Although perhaps at a slightly reduced pace as that was pretty mental at times, haha, you are some pedaller dudeπŸ‘Œ Anyone else fancy it?

    Chains

Quite significant for trials, IME. A year out of a chain is quite exceptional I would say, for how often you ride and how good you are at destroying stuff 😁 suggest 3-6 months before changing, in future.
  7. Spoiler looks a nice buy. Glad to see you getting use out of the lift too! Mid March works for me, I'll see what Danny's up to as well...
  8. Interesting concept... I think of myself as pretty tech-savvy and couldn't see on the website information about which orientation these wobble in. Bit skeptical as most of the photos on the site show people riding with SPDs πŸ˜…
  9. Cheeky little track day at Oulton yesterday. So good! When do you fancy going playing down the back lanes, Luke? @Paperclip My mate just picked up a 370Z and is keen to get it out properly 😎 Actually I think you met him at Tarty recently, Danny?
  10. Agreed. The guy in the video is as great as the hub, too!
  11. How quickly do they get tight? 1 thread? 5 threads? Are they the fancy nipples with inbuilt threadlock? I've used the exact same combo myself with no issues, but could be worth potentially sacrificing one of each as a tester - just stick some lube on and wind the f**k out of it, see what happens.
  12. Ah that is probably a good shout. As you said, wrestling with those hoses would be no fun! Mid Jan looking a bit tricky for me, last weekend onwards all good though πŸ‘
  13. Perfection 🀌 thanks for sharing, as always!
  14. Sounds awesome, also salivating!* *Might be the man flu 😷
  15. Ace. Would be great to have a few out - both in terms of people, and a variation in cars! I'd be happy to make it a single day thing if nobody wants to travel miles as us 3 are local enough. Which kit is it Luke? Can't quite tell from the photo... I'd rather work on something I'm familar with ideally. They all have slightly different suspension designs in a dynamic sense, which affects the ideal static settings, you see. I know Westfields inside out and done a few MNRs and Fishers. If it's a live axle at the rear that's easy and we could do some basis tests to determine how the front reacts dynamically and set up accordingly. Have heard good things about Phoenix though if you need to go that route, a bit closer to you also?
  16. That indoor space look brilliant! You will love the lift πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜Ž Keen for a run out, happy to assist if I can. Cheers Luke!
  17. Patience, young padowan...
  18. Interesting... I can't see it working for high loads. A properly penetrated weld will nelt right through the ratchet, leaving the teeth in a mess. So you'd need to have the beat turned right down, and the weld won't attach to the ratchet very well. I would at least wait until you hear back about warranty
  19. The world will end before the ratchet strips out on that setup πŸ‘
  20. Is that in Chinese Yuan? If yes, its Β£150 which sounds about right, depending on sales taxes. Though if you've paid in MOP, that looks like about Β£170? Just trying to figure out if it's a genuine Hope part, in which case you should get sorted out πŸ‘
  21. No, lower spoke tensions and butted spokes will help a bit though. How much did you pay for the hub @MaderaMark?
  22. I skipped through the video briefly and almost everything I heard was... sketchy. But the alu vs steel thing stood out.
  23. Weirdly, one of their 10mm bolt on axles is the only bicycle component I remember breaking (rather than wearing out, getting bored of, etc) in the last few years! Lots of pseudo-engineering chat and garbage in that video πŸ™„
  24. Love seeing a top comp rider piss all over massive, tech, scary stuff on street. So good!
