  1. This is my new bt 8.0. I got the frame two dayes ago and today i rode it for the first time. First of all, i wanted to tell you how great was the service i got from the main man at bt-RAFAL! after 20 e-mails and a color change, he turned out to be a great guy with a lot of patience. every thing came packed nicely and safe as i was told. So rafal, this is a B I G thank you from me to you. This is not my first bt (i had a 6.0) and as long as i can tell-not the last. The frame feels great and classic with big gaps and bunny- hops. it is perfect for me, not too long, yet, not too short.WB is 1075. The spec: King head-set and hubs in red Fatty fork EASTON handle-bar 710 wide Specialized 90 m"m stem Salsa front rim on DT revolution spokes Planet-X BMF rear rim on DT competition spokes MAXXIS moabster 2.5 tire on the rear Michelin HOT-S 2.5 as a front tire TRUE-VATIVE stylo ISIS cranck with 22 T MAGURA hs 33 rim brakes http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/4210/mynewbt005kd6.jpg
  2. Try to force some cooked oil inside the gap (to low the clicking sound volume down) and insted of welding , try to use a 5 m"m nut and screw. If you grind it (the bolt's head) nicely and paint it black it will hardly be noticed, and press everything tight in order to avoid you from riding with that MP3 . Good luck...
  3. I know about this problem. I'm a bike mechanic and i have seen it before on the same echo forks. does the steerer tube only got weld on the lower crown? If it does- its the same as my frind's bike. echo told him its no problem. on cannondale's fatty's there is no weld - just plain good press fit. I Konw it can drive you crazy. Ask echo to send you MP3. Its cheap in china. (so you can listen to your favorit music insted..)
  4. It's 75 m"m long and with a truevativ 50 m"m rise bar it feels great for my short 1.68 meter body. any sugestions?
  5. Same as xt but different fluid. I have lods of spare parts for it because i work as a bike mechanic in a K H S's bike dealer shop. some old 2002 khs's were originaly fitted with that brake system.
  6. Hi. It's a grimeca XT (they made shimano the first twin cylinder xt brake). it's nice and has two pistons on each side and filled with dot 4 brake fluid/ It's five years old and as new. Oh, and its red too...
  7. Just wanted to tell you how great they are. I asked them to send me a 6.0 frame stickr kit (for my allready specialy painted green frame) , and they sent it to me free of charge!!! thanks!!!
  8. Been wondering.. i know isis are shit (my friend's SKF looks nice) but isn't square bb's are worse?
  9. Thank you for that mate! I understand that you'v been hard working this days because i work at a bike shop as well (not trials specific ). Again, thank you all for your time. now i have to talk with my wife...
  10. I asked about monty stem+zoo bar and not about monty bar + zoo stem. but thanks any way
  11. I need to know if the monty stem (no face plate but just 2 pinch bolts) can run the 740 rise zoo bar before i buy it from tarty bikes (they dont reply my mail). the monty urban stem: the zoo bar:

    Base Stem

Can you tell if the 26 (stock) 120*20 m"m stem has 4 or 2 bolts?
  13. This is my new bike, and i rode it today for the first time. my question is: will it be more right to use a high rise stem? my other bike was +20 frame with 1050 WB and 390 CS. This bike has +38 bb 1065 WB and shorter 375 chain stays. in order to overcome the gap of the higer bb of this frame i rose the stem in about the same Xtra 18 m"m but to my oppinion it feels the same. i'm 1.68 meter. what can you advise me?
  14. Rode it today for the first time. its really nice but i'm thinking of a higher stem. what do you think???
  15. My parts are mostly red so it will be nice contrast to the green frame. KING hubs and head-set, a race face cranck, fatty forX etc.
  16. After five days it is here!!! my new bt 6.0 with a special (as they told me:the only one in the world in this kined of green) color. What do you think?
  17. Thank you for reply. Ali-bongo is the last trials frame made by planet-x (1055wb 390cs +20bb) . it's the same geo of PX tibo.
  18. ...About that 47 mm rim: I understand that's because of the Xtra width - the crank hits the magura's slave cylinder. is that right? So, in other words, you say that frame is a bit old school isn't it? they dont use 38 mm rear rims this days any more...
  19. Thanks mates! What about the geo? What am i going to loose or gain with a higer bb? plus, i want the new frame to be a bit longer than my alibongo. will the 1065 +45 bb bt act and feel longer than the alibongo or it will not feel longer? is the 1100 frame is too long for me in a way that i will not be able to do the same bunyy-hops or gaps? Sorry about all those questions but i see that you know a thing or two about geos of trials frames.
  20. Thanks! What about the geo? I'm 1.68 meter high. I use an alibongo frame with a+20 bb rise. how will the BT's +45 bb rise will effect my ride??? Do i need the 1065 frame or the 1100? My riding style is mostly street.
  21. Is it a good quality? realy hand made in poland? did some one allready snaped it's 6.0 raven model? how does it feel? i'm into geting me self a swwwweeeet new 1065 frame. am i doing a mistake???

  23. I was so damm lucky. i rode this fork a few months ago and gone back to my good-old fatty r's. 2 weeks ago i got the chance to sell it (the woodman) to some-one with a planet-x pitbull (bomb-proof cr-mo trial-street frame). it didnt last a week under that fork-nazi street rider . he told me that he was just riding along doin' 180 pivot on the front when it snapped. thank's god it wasn't me!!! any way the boy is ok. his face's still in a mint condition.... ...Its in the brakes welds... he had an 8" disk-brake rotor. maybe too big to that fork?
