My GOOOD what a retarded edit. The moves are kinda well selected, but boy who you got to be to make this music and effects. So ruined the idea. I have collected moves for a while now to make a compilation out of them, so I know it's a lot of effort. Right. Plus, let's imagine you want to use text messages (sms, facebook, whatsapp) for this. You would send "I'm riding" to everyone. That's like "cool story bro, but who cares"? Here, you post "I'm riding" and whoever is interested will see it, others won't be bothered. It's a post mechanism, as opposed to ping mechanism

Find friends only gives you friends' locations, but you have no idea if the're riding or not. Plus it's about everybody, not filtered to, say, trials riders. Doesn't solve the problem.. Thanks all for the feedback. I think it's worth doing

Yeah I also thought about "spots" layer on the map, which is a sweet feature but not enough to make a separate app for it.

Hey, We are playing around with an idea to make a mobile app. Here's the pain I'm trying to solve: Whenever I want to (usually spontaneously) go riding, I want to know who else rides right now, so we can meet and ride together. To do this I have to call/txt every local rider. What I want to do is to have an app, that has 1 button: "I'M RIDING" that I push when I'm going riding. My friends will see that I'm riding and can call me and meet me. Works for cities, obviously. I have one main question to you: Would you use it? (it will be free and provided all your friends have it and imagine you have a smartfone if you don't) Other questions could be: - what other features would be important to have - what other features would be nice to have For example: - Map / gps to see where exactly other riders ride right now - Settings to filter / select different cities - See stats how long you ride, where, etc. - Ability to quickly call / text the active (riding) rider If there's good response, there's higher chance that this will happen. Also might be useful for other kinds of riders, such as bmx, street etc. Thanks! :yum:

Ok, I see about lines.. We actually don't have a name for lines. That's interesting, that in different languages those things form differently. You don't have a term for "topic", we don't have a term for "line" and still everybody's content with what they've got and have no trouble understanding each other:) Thanks guys!!

I see, but the spot can not be referred to a "thing" inside a spot. A spot can contain like 50 different moves, how do you call them ? They are the possibilities of a move

Obviously i can't tell you like that "english term for smth" as i don't know how it is smth ))) How do you call a thing you ride on. A challenging rock, for example. A tempting pair of rails. A spot? A thing? "It's ridable?" In russian we have an exact one and only word for all those cases - it's an analogue of an english word "topic". So that's how we say it - "so i made this damn topic the other day" Or "Whhooooooo check out THAT topic!" Enough said, you got it:) What do you use? Thanks! more questions will eventually arise.

I'm planning to and i will eventually make my-way trials videos editing tut. But not now Stick with the song. Stay away from crazy angles. Try to make every move look good. Don't use effects Most important - Don't let the viewer get bored = that is = don't show all that boring stuff!!! (which, when you think about it sometimes boils down to "don't make a video" - but no. Don't make a bad video - is true)
