Matey I have been signed up since 18/01/2005 and a few people after I have replied or made a topic said I should be validated but I still haven't but I am Not complaining I say my time will come. Think and what you are doing before you open your mouth. Think about the cheetah and the Tortoise Cheetah average work speed of 60mph and life span of about 4 years Tortoise average work speed of 0.1mph life snap of about 100 years So slow down and one day it maybe your turn to get validated and one day I might get validated time shall tell Pike64421

We have a large amount of places to ride big and small and all with-in cycling distance we will be able to help you out with places to stay. Well if any one is interested please add us to msn: Pike64421 (jayson@leedare.co.uk) Jersey rider (biker_benjamin@hotmail.com) Thanks again pike64421 (jayson)
  14. well three weeks is a basic out line to give you a some idea but we are welcome to all comments because we have never done anything like this before. well we have done some like weekends over in Guernsey but i am looking forward to ride the UK as it is somewhere new yes we have thought about the budget and we are aiming to raise £500 each for food, spares, petrol and beer because there is bound to be some house party when we are other there if not going out on the town and chilling bbutthen £500 is a large amount just for three weeks
  15. dan the trials man, everyone has to start somewhere and you never know we might learn something new off of you and you might learn something off of us.you can't say "i would just be simply watching and dreaming." because you will never learn how to do stuff unless you try doing it yourself. i do think you should come to Brighton and ride as well because it will be mega nice to meet new people and to see how others ride pike64421
  16. well the JSY team aims to go on this road trip in the summer holidays 2007 because the nights will be logger and most people don't have school i think that would be a great idea because it is not that far from Leicester then to Nottinghamn and then to stoke that sounds good
  17. Hello everyone, Well I am trying to plan ahead for 2007 as I am trying to sort out a JSY road trip around the South of the UK. We would plan it out over a three week period and make it like a semi holiday. Right now as it stand there will be 3 of us travelling a car for all the passengers and a van for all the bikes a spares. Well I think we would be sleeping in tents at the nearest camp site. Below I have made a quite list on where I think would be good to ride and meet new people ok. Well I was thinking of heading in the direction of: Poole (get off the boat) Southampton Portsmouth Brighton Folkstone Dover Rochester London Cambridge Leicester Coventy Oxford Reading Bath Bristol (go home) That is not a final route yet but there is no point in going some where that there will be nothing to ride and no new people to meet. This is where you nice people coming into it to advise me on which way to head. The riders that will be coming are: Pike64421 (my self Jayson) Jersey rider (Ben Here) Danny.g (Danny) So guy’s if you can help me on what locations to go for it would be a big help and you never know we could be in a town near you Cheer guys for reading this and comment will be so so helpful Pike64421 (jayson)
  18. hello, Powder coating is not that hard to do and you can buy the equipment quite easy for about £150 Powder is an excellent way for a perfect finish as well as being as solid as a rock. the method of powder coating is to give the frame a light sand to roughen up the surface then you have to negatively charge the frame (wires comes with the kit) and the plastic partials need's to be positive charged so it will stick to the frame the way the particle get passivity charged is all thought the gun. Then all is left is to place the frame in big oven and cook on gas mark 6 for about 6 hours. But then again how many of you have an oven so big you can fit your bike frame in there. When there is a will there is a way if any of you still go to school of college you will have a pottery kiln just ask the head master really nice and he might say yes all the best pike64421 (jayson)
  19. i have never had any problem with my hs33 I found the best way to get the perfect spacing between the rim and the pads was to use my flexible friend the credit card!!!!!!! but when I had buckled my rim I just increased the spacing with another card on top so second flexible friend pike 64421 (jayson)
  20. Good Good matey nice to hear people these days having the time to spray there bikes. I don’t what to hear of people doing the same mistake as I did on my motor bike where is spent about 10 hours filling and sanding my panels then came around to paint there and the paint just pealed off due to me not wiping the panels down with paint thinners to remove all the grease and dirt. After about a hour chatting to a professional car sprayer he informed me of orange peal and how it effects the finish to the paint. The way he said to Eliminate the orange peal was to sand after every coat and on the final gloss coats was to colour sand (apply water when sanding). For those that has never heard of colour sanding Colour sanding is done for several reasons, and if done correctly, it can yield outstanding final results. The colour-sanding process smoothes out the minute waviness in the paint (known as orange peel) and removes minor imperfections in the paint and the clear coat (such as tiny particles of dust stuck in the clear coat). But the amount of sanding needed for colour sanding is far less than for sanding body filler or primer. Colour sanding requires the use of special, very fine, high-grit sandpaper that removes very small amounts of the surface material. Traditional body-sanding paper is in the 40- to 80-grit range, whereas colour-sanding paper is in the 1,200- to 2,000-grit range. If you are still not sure about colour sanding here is a website that runs you thought the basic colour sanding This is the order that i spayed my bike. 1. Primer (Grey) 1Can. Spray 2 layers. 2. Light sand with 1500 grit sand paper (wet&dry) between both coats 3. Spray paint (Black) 2 cans spray 3-5 layers. 4. Starts wet sanding it is best to take your time with this making sure that it is smooth 5. Lacquer 4-6 layers. Apply each layer of lacquer while they are still tacky (every 15 minutes there about) You will know when you get it right because when the lacquer has completely cured (dried for a few days and hardened) it should be smooth and shiny. When I had completed my bike I looked back on how many hours I spent doing it all and it came to in the region of 60 hours i hope i have help you to get a perfect finish you want Cheers pike64421 (jayson)

  23. hello people. The way i got my fixed cog off on my hub was that i i got a empty butter tub and i filled it up with DW40 and put the wheel lying on top of it so the cog to was covered left it for a day to soak. I got a lenght of chain put it on the cog and had a peace of steel tubing with a small bolt thought it i hooked a link in the chain on the bolt to make like a home made chain whip while i was trying to undo it i was taping it with a rubber hammer on the centre of the cog. After a bit of sweat it came off. but personally i would just buy a new one because u are putting that much strain on it u would have weakened it so much
