  4. i had one as my back brake with coust pads, kicked the shit out of a maggie, and they dont run any wierder on buckled rims than maguras.

  12. hes not selling it! its in pike pics not for sale and wanted. he cant sell it anyway until its been on north east news lol
  13. it doesnt have a chris king iso on it anymore, thats on my brooklyn now but yeh this bike looks the tits in real life, real good quality frame in comparison with their others!
  14. seems to be loads of these threads around recently! about 8ish months a go i got sick of my magura, id spent a shit load on it and it still wasnt performing how i wanted so i swapped it for a cracked xtr lever heatsink v brakes pads and ultimate arms, i lost out big time realy. I also bought an ultimate lever. once i put it all on it was amazing and i didnt care about what id lost swapping my pimp maura. i wasnt even bother when my v-brake mount frame cracked and i had to buy the heatsink adapters for my new frame! V-brakes do rock!
  15. In all honesty its personal preference. This argument of hydro or cable brakes won't ever end. You get your hardcore cable worshippers and hardcore hydro worshippers. Just get whatever you want, take a chance here or there and see what you end up with and then you can tell other people about your findings! But just for abit of brake porn:
  16. same problem as me! i got sick of hydro power and went to v-brakes front and rear! i definatly havnt looked back!
  17. They are THAT good! they're amazing! but not for 80 quid a pop! i got mine for half that price brand new, which i found to be worth it as i was using it as a rear brake and wanted no lever flex. i had a front avid bb7 too and i managed to get another one second hand at 25 quid so had front and rear ultimate levers! was pimp! but yeh sd5 seem to be pretty much as rigid. the sd7 i had flexed quite alot and xtr flexes f**k loads realy!
  18. xtr levers in my opinion arn't that good realy. Ultimate levers are currently £159.99 for front and rear at bikedock . However they are shit hot levers, i run a full avid ultimate brake/caliper set-up as a rear brake and its the best! If thats too much, which it definatly is, then id recomend other avid levers like the sd5 sd7 etc. Hope ive helped somewhat.
  19. think i am going! f**k knows joshywa sorted out tickets so i probs wont have one! but meh ill try find a way there!
  20. Yes i can agree. the way you have put it has not wound me up at all and ive taken in your sound advice You also commented back upon the topic my good friend started properly and have tried to help him out with his phtography skills whereas them other c**ts didnt do any of this. They did not reply to the topic in any way shape or form how my friend had assumed people would. One person already pointed out i did not have a helmet on, and only said that, nothing about the topic, then i made it clear id registered with that and some1 else does it? You see why im wound up? Thanks for your help on the photography subjecT I am sure this will help in futre. scott
  21. seriously f**k off about the lid comments. weve all now gathered and realised i did not have a helmet on. i also didnt have elbow guards on, oh know there gonna fall off now, no shin pads... oh look mummy they fell off too.
  22. knob the f**k off! dont even own a b*****d lid. im skint from the bike itself cant afford nessesitys like bike helmets! if i die its my time to do so! haha yeh i stole the scarf off a girl, what a nice boy i am and cheers for the bike comments, if anyone would like to offer me a substantial amount of money for it go ahead!

  24. after been totally addicted by vw's for a long time finilly got my first car after checkin over and over again that insurance was okay and they told us over and over yes thats the right price. so we got buy the car then ring up insurance then they tell us insurance is 2000 on my dad insurance rather than the 350 quid they quoted the day before!!! f**king c**ts i hate insurance companies. no either have to sell my beloved first car or just get insured for a month at a time every few! so bad its a polo mk4 6n btw. love it to bits, so sad seeing it on the drive doing nothing
