the stand over height on the modern trials bike is so low now that i dont think it would make any difference, i dont think a moto style dip is required.
yeah ive been after having a go on one as im interested in getting one soon. anyone whos riode one or owns one please let me know what it rides like. cheers
yeah i would go for something like an onza t-pro. my mate has one and it rides very nicely. but i would go for a acs freewheel straight away when you get your bike. :P
the kyle hinchcliffe video are you talking about the one where the first song is switchfoot- meant to live for so much more? i only ask because ive been wondering what the song is so i can download is aswell.
hey up. i live in newcastle. theres plenty of us. usually about ten of us out on a good night. we rode a place called crook once which is a few miles outside durham. im up for meeting up for a ride sometime. give me an email etc. cheers mate :P
yeah. the pair i got of you are excellent. i really like them. they arent the warmest but that makes you ride harder to keep yourself warm. i would recomend these gloves to you though as they are really comfortable yet still protect your hands well etc. (Y)
ok. do the hope and american classic hubs have the 'skateboard style bearings' as i call them or do they have a threaded axle with ball bearings and cones? i would prefer the skateboard styley bearings as they seem to be more hassle free.
sorry about the lack of technical talk!
cheers
the hope also dounds very good. i'll take a look at it see what i think. anything will be better than a shimano. when i replace this hub my bike will finally be shimano free!!! i'll get on the phone to tartybikes about the new echo to see what they say about them.
my shimano deore disc mount front hub locked up the other day and nearly threw me over the bars. i cant be bothered to replace another axle in it etc.
so i was just wondering which front hubs you would recomend, with a disc mount hub?
cheers
i think that i would probably go for the adament. only because, no offence to anyone with a hi-fi, but i dont really like the open tube at the front of the top tube.
i use race face good 'n' evil grips. really nice in my opinion and a good compound so they last quite a while yet dont hurt your hands. they are quite thick aswell.
ive got a gyro targa. i paid £40 for it from halfords. so i can imagine you can get it cheaper somewhere else. it looks exactly like the gyro targa ( which is also an excellent helmet). there nice and lightweight with removable pads. i love mine. its the only helmet ive ever worn.
yeah same here. always have always will. i feel more confident with one on. i think you should wear one all the time. once you hit your head hard your finished.....for life!
