  1. yeah ive been looking at those. they look really good. i think i mite get it this weekend or when i have time to.
  2. good stuff. was an annoyance. shame kids like that can be such an annoyance. i can now see the purpose of the validation system which t-f uses.
  3. you only need to do a small spot weld on your acs. where your tool goes in there are four pieces of metal which come out. do a spot weld between one of these and your lockring. this will just hold it in place so that it cant spin round
  4. as you can see in the picture the snail cams have a sort of point on them. when you put them on make sure this point is upwards other wise you could snap them when you land on them off a sidehop etc.
  5. ive started downloading it but im currently on dial up conection. while im waiting i would just say make sure you have a good angle when your front wheel is on the rail. if your going straight at it then your rear wheel has alot further to travel to get on the rail. just try to get your back wheel nice and high aswell so that you have plenty of time to push your rear wheel on to the rail. and by the way that is all tunnicliffe and cls seem to do all day every day so dont worry if it takes a while to learn. just practise and loads of effort to get your rear wheel on to it.
  6. certainly no bother mate. ask me anything. ive got a gas gas 125 currently but im getting my 06 gas gas txt pro 250 soon. my msn addy is in my signature.
  7. dont try to lock up a rear freewheel so that you can use front freewheel. i tried it and it doesnt work. i welded the freehub togethor on the inside but it cracked and came loose again. i also tried running front and rear freewheel/freehub. that doesnt work either. the engagement points are terrible and just doesnt feel right. in the end i bought an echo fixed rear hub and an acs. works really well and is alot cheaper to replace a acs than a hope freehub body.
  8. snail cams are like the chain tensioners that motorcycles use. they are like a spacer which get wider on one side. u turn it to make your chain tensioner. personally i prfer the cams as i am used to using them on my motorbike and they are easy to use and keep your wheel in line well. there you go>>> http://tartybikes.co.uk/image.php?image=tryallsnailcam.jpg
  9. you sound about right. they've seen someone on t-f and decided it would be funny to have a go on it. or it could just be coincidence when theyve been googling about bikes etc
  10. they had posted some pretty random posts like. i think i would probably go for the gu just because every other mod rider seems to be on a python these days. stand out from the crowd and ride something different. of course its your money and its an expensive way to be ' different'. but thats my opinion
  11. yeah sounds about right. thanks for ignoring it lads. makes life easier for the moderators aswell. i'm going to wait and see what the tensile freewheels are like as i am not in much of a hurry to get a new one. if the tensile is no good i think i'll go for the eno
  12. yeah i mite just save for an eno then. we'll see. depends how long they take to come out.
  13. £30 isnt too bad. as long as its better than the acs though.
  14. anyway. does anyone know when the tensile freewheels are coming out.?
  15. can everyone please ignore these crap topics and talk about trials. answer the trials topics and the shite will slowly disapear off the page. cheers guys
  16. i think that with stock you dont have to be as accurate. for example on rails you can land slightly short but hold it whereas on a mod it would be harder to hold.
  17. yeah once youve been pedalling backwards for a while it feels un-natural not to pedal backwards. i think it is easier when you have to pedal backwards aswell.
  18. i couldnt fancy using a freecoaster for trials though. use some skill and pedal backwards when you land. haha (Y)
  19. i ride a 2006 saracen mad team urban. i got it on warranty after snapping my 04 mad. i actually really like it. nice on the back wheel etc. i also really like it because i got it for free!!! ;) (Y)
  20. haha yeah. midgets on 20's and giants on 26's. i personally think that 26 is the best to ride but 20's are cheaper to run. for the length of the frame...it all depends on your style and the type of things you do on your bike.
  21. Newcastle upon tyne and tynemouth rocks. both really good in my opinion. loads of places to ride and not much security
  22. i think the pitbull is the nicest to ride :(
  23. the zoo definitely looks like the nicer bike out of the two.
  24. i mite wait for it then because my acs is starting to skip quite often. for the price of an acs i mite just buy a new one now and get the tensile one when it comes out.
  25. haha yeah. he must have a 'fat wallet' then.
