  1. weird. not many people get punctures witht that rim
  2. yeah a good inner tube makes all the difference. a wider rim helps to stop gettin punctures aswell
  3. hey i never knew that about that about engagement points etc on front freewheel.
  4. im running a echo fixed rear hub with an acs on the front. miles better in my opinion and alot cheaper to replace a freewheel than a hub or freehub body. front freewheel is the way although they get hungry and eat your pants when your riding along :S
  5. hmmmmm....weird. i run the high roller and never get punctures. you getting snake bite? what tyre pressures and rim do you have aswell?
  6. i used to wear them but they are annoying and get itchy when you sweat. i feel they restrict movement a bit aswell. if you hit your shins and knees all the time though i would say they are worth the money
  7. i agree that compared to newer videos out i dont think it looks half as impressive. zoo videos, hanley concourse etc are far better. :turned:
  8. i must admit i dont think manifesto looks very good now. looks dated
  9. yeah i would like to see some more technical moves in the videos. still big moves etc but some silly little moves would add some character to the vids. it would also inspire other riders because little, tech things are what they can try.
  10. i know that most of us all really enjoy the zoo videos with great riding and excellent soundtracks. i am not saying i hate the videos or trying to cause offence to anyone but does anyone think these videos are starting to get a bit repetative? same old gaps to rails, sidehops and wheel swaps on rails. just an opinion. cheers.
  11. yeah i like the bikes but the dont seem to be too strong. as for ashton himself i think he is a pioneer of the sport. he has brought it on so far. i remember in around 1995 a program was on channel 4 watching aston and hawyes at a competition. if it was nt for the program and martyn ashton i wouldnt be doin trials myself.
  12. aahh...very true. unlucky for them. they could meet up a little later though.
  13. would if i lived there. shame you aint got any replies. i thought you would get loads
  14. no i dont think so. just a nice long one. haha. go for it
  15. go for an echo. cant go wrong
  16. personally i think i would go for the onza. lovely looking bikes especially when the frame is polished up
  17. hey im sure i was watching engage 7 the other day. good soundtrack with james porter and sam wheeler. have a look on that endigoedidee site. (aint got a clue how to spell that)
  18. hey thanks for the help guys. just been in the garage. got a bit of oil on pistons and pumped the brake up. working lovely again. thanks again (Y) (N)
  19. hey. make sure you get in touch. and i also ride tynemouth often so if you wanna ride someday 'village idiot' your more than welcome to come along. hey colly you gonna come ride newcastle town centre sometime.
  20. kool. i'll take a look round for a 130
  21. ok. cheers mate. i'll give it a go and see what happens
  22. yeah sounds good. ive tried using brake cleaner on it so that it wouldnt matter if i got it on my pads but it evaporates real quick. i'll try some wd40 or oil. cheers
  23. the bb look real high on that frame aswell. i like it. i really like the little flick where the seat would be. like a little mudguard. haha
  24. yeah mine are done with water now. i think i'll bleed them properly with the magura oil this time. i cant see why it just doesnt want to return though.
  25. ok. my rear magura is being annoying at the moment. when i pull the brake lever and then let go one of the pads doesnt want to return. i can push it back by hand but its annoying and makes an awfull sound when i am riding along. i have loosened tpa right off and i dont use tar etc. what else can i do to make the pad return? cheers guys
