  1. thats the worst condition hub ive ever seen. must have took some stick. i bet your gutted especially considering the price of them
  2. 15,16,19,20,24,26 and 28 are my favourites. especially 28. some real crazy stuff on that one.
  3. we'll call them long or competition frames then.
  4. yeah they are pretty strong. look at the 2005-2006 pitbull. the bottom bracket area is all cnc'ed which is pretty strong i would say. the only plave they seem to be cracking is the brake mounts. (thats maguras for you) but they will be easier to ride as they really do just sit on the back wheel. sidehops are nice and easy on them and so are gaps i think. the thing i like about them is that when your hopping on the backwheel about to do something you can stop hopping and just balance on the backwheel, then just concentrate on where your going. your best bet is to get your hands on some how and have a good play on one. maybe a friend etc :$
  5. yip there all there. 19 and 20 are favourites of mine. hey jt. is whitby near scarborough because im thinking of arranging a ride round scarborough soon. :$
  6. the idea behind the raised bottom bracket is to make it better on the backwheel as apparantly if the bottom bracket is higher then when you are on the back wheel your feet are directly above the rear wheel. it also gives you better ground clearance which will help in uci comps. look at the kot ms2 in the new mbuk. they explain some of this stuff. the longer frames also help with straight lifts etc up rocks as you arent at as much of a steep angle. obviously shorter chainstay lengths help keep the bike on the back wheel. your bike will be good on street compared to these long frames and the 'no seat frames' all thats about is keepin it out if the way so the stand over height is really low which will help you in the event of a bail and when crouching into the bike when goin for big moves. hope this helps.
  7. oh yeah. they are pretty sexual like.
  8. maggies arent crap. if you look after them and spend time setting them up they are the best rear brake out. maybe your braided hose was too short and thats why it snapped.
  9. cant go wrong with a kmc kool chain
  10. most likely mod looking at his bike ridden section. go for a set of echo forks.
  11. looking good. looks like you all had a good days riding
  12. ive been thinking anbout a bikedock drilled rim. any comments?
  13. hey. just got my 2006 saracen. only got it because i snapped my old one and they sent me this one because they had no 2005 models left. do a google search for 2006 saracen mad team super pro or 2006 saracen mad team urban. they will bring pics up. mailordercycles has them. i'll get some pics of mine soon
  14. i use the xc-ting gloves on my motorcycel. they are the most comfortable gloves i have ever had. you barely know you are wearing any. on my cycle bike i use troy lee xc gloves they are alright but dont last too long
  15. just keep on top of it before it gets that loose. i always keep a small screwdriver with me and give it a tighten every so often. most reliable things if you look after them
  16. cheers man. i'll have a look around some time
  17. a friend of mine snapped his on the seat stay and they wouldnt replace it on warranty but it lasted him over a year and he thrashed it
  18. what some people do is they drill a small hole just in front of the direction the crack is going. this usually stops the crack travelling any further.
  19. hey chewmeup. im liking the music on your website by the way. different to the usual and kinda nice and relaxing :D
  20. i would love to ride there. looks so cool. i think i saw it on a video by two lads on t-f. think it was matt and kyle. had a really good soundtrack to. (kaiser chiefs- i predict a riot) where abouts is shipley glen?
  21. take a look around. zoo, echo, viz and onza do some nice stems and bars with stems of different lengths etc
  22. get the water out of them and bleed them with magura oil. water is un-compressable. people say it works well but i have found it never works well at all
  23. sounds like that could be very painful but a good laugh at the same time. at the motocycle trials they put a super expert course on which they called kamikaze. micheal phillipson, micheal lee and andy huddleston rode it. now that was something to watch. BIG rock steps. 10ft +
