since your just about a 6ft lad i think that if you wanted you could get a stock ( the t-rex and muscle it about or you could just get a mod. easier to learn on :unsure:

is it alright having water in your maggie. does it not erode parts. also it isnt much of a lubricant. im still not sure about it. i suppose i could try it and if i dont like it bleed it properly

thats what i was thinking. so does the lever feel spongey at all with water in or is it as good as the maggie blood

i had a avid one on when i had a v brake on the rear. they dont make that much difference i dont think.

awwwwwwwwwww. i got all excited when you said i had been validated. i think im goin to run a bodge job for a while then buy a drilled rim. dont know which one to go for though. which is the strongest?

i am going to buy an 04 pitbull frame. i currently have a d521 rim. as the chainstays are wider on the pitbull compared to a saracen mad i was wondering whether i will be able to set my brake up so that it actually reaches the rim (or so i dont have to pull the lever to the bar) because as we all know a d521 is quite a narrow rim? cheers guys

yeah thats exactly where mine snapped. it was only on the ride side though. just under the weld is where it snapped. thw welds look so thin aswell.

oh good. i quite like the new ones they are supposed to ride nice. i just need something so i can ride again. i feel all lost without my bike

a while ago i snapped my 04 saracen mad frame after riding it for 7 month. i sent it back to saracen and i am waiting to hear from them. i was wondering whether anyone else has snapped theirs and whether they heard anything or recieved a replacement frame etc. cheers :'(

there is less 2 break on a mod and the wheels are much stronder
