yeah ive had a look around. i also still like the coust replica frames that are around. cant find them anymore though. :P

the absolute most i can spend is £200 but i would like to spend less and upgrade some other components on my bike.

recently (as in half an hour ago) i snapped my 2004 saracen mad frame :P i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what to get next. i would like a longer frame and it can have four bolt magura mounts. i am on a budget so the cheaper the better. thank you

i prefer a disk brake on the front especially for gapping to front wheel and sidehopping where you put your front wheel down first, brake to lift the back end up. i think it feels a lot smoother than an hs33 and they also look cool

the older model frames by echo are still excellent frames and will still ride nice. there should be plenty about as you can still get the 04 echo controls from tarty bikes. email a few shops etc

i like the idea of having a hydraulic probably because i have a cable disk already. i will have a look at the avid juicy, magura julie etc. thanks :P

i run a 16t acs on the front and ive found it excellent aslong as you make sure you keep the lockring tight. mine barely ever skips/jumps when i pedal. really reliable i think. (Y)

i currently have a shimano deore cable disk on the front as was looking to upgrade to a hydraulic disk. i like the look of the magura julies. any good?

i took the quick release off mine straight away. they are total crap.

any brake pads will work on a grind. i use magura cool stop pads (red). they work well
