  10. Haha, ohh yea, i hadn't noticed that....MMMMmm stainless poles .
  11. haha .. hmm kinda. the bike was living with Tom Ritchey (long story!) .. but now a friend has managed to collect all my stuff and van, and its apparently in a field near the rockies/canada somewhere.....no big deal, just EVERYthing i own !!! argh! haha
  12. https://vimeo.com/62537881 When I was living in BC I made myself a stainless trials bike at work. then I moved to California for a while, and managed to get out and film just one day. I was planning to film way more, but due to my extensive gypsy ways California didn't let me back in UhOhh! Now im in North Wales, and it was time to admit that it might be AGES before i get back to my bike and get more clips. so here it is. I'm happy enough with the footage, considering it was my first proper ride on the bike really, and amazed that putting a camera on a skateboard on the desk, then pulling it slowly with string going to a drill in a vise, worked so well ! Thanks to Naked Bicycles And a Huge thanks to Ali C for lending me His HEX while im here for a while. Now this video is done, its time to start filming a Hex/North Wales vid PLEASE let me know what you think ! thanks Aran
  13. because its the worst bike design in decades... a silly prototype would be hilarious. but it looks like they have actually produced it. key features being... -rides shit -super complicated -some serious weak points -crap at being a BMX -crap at being a MTB gonna order mine right now
  14. i would just say, go over the handle bars more before you switch. and swing it with you hips into a accidental manual

  16. Nice 'Pure Power' you have there.. looks like you had a damn fun evening BIG moves, would be so good if you did a little more balance/technical practice too. nice work Aran
  17. me and Matt went riding / filming today. third time lucky we got it done. attempt one - got shouted at and moved on attempt two - arrived at spot, set up camera, started riding........ '' Insert memory card'' ! (which was in the laptop back home)..GRR attempt three - will be uploaded tomorrow. then we did a really quick edit that was 5 mins long. then spent ages trying to make it 1:30 ! thanks to Ali C for letting me steal his bike, and his shoes. Aran.
  18. EVEN !!!! if you buy the cheapest GoPro. and a 10 quid mini tripod it would look GOOD ! has he gone to extra efforts to find a camera thats shit. ?? he is an amazing rider. the moves a big. his comp skills are AMAZING !!! but.... theres no way I can remotely enjoy a video of someone riding 20" wheels with upside down handlebars and duel maguras, filmed on a wobbly crap camera. then edited even worse... visually, the best thing on there was that dogs face... and that isnt saying much ! Aran

  20. URGH ! so crap. watched less than half. i could have made a better video using a stick man animation in the corner of a notepad.
  21. wow. that made me miss shipley pretty bad. nice video guys. thanks for making it.
  22. thanks for all the replies... very encouraging. in reply to Rob Leech... no, i dont think there have been any stainless trials frames . it is a first. in reply to.. Familybiker and Filo.. your average 304 or similar stainless can have work hardening issues, its also soft as hell, and tends to melt a little lower temp than other steels. the maintubes of the frame are nothing similar to 304. however BB shells are not available so the one i have used is from paragon machine works. and im %95 sure its 304. we hade used them on loads of frames. if its an issue for the stress of trials riding, i will find out. haha on that note. looking forward to really riding the hell out of this thing int he next few weeks. and getting some filming done Aran
  23. yea, it doesnt have one because i wanted rear magura or brakeless setup. on my hardtail i made a simple sliding disk mount bridged a small tube from chainstay to seatstay. aran
