well i have ordered a viz rim today but im not going to grind it. just smooth with heatsink blues with a bit of tar (from what clownbike has ive seen that set up is fooking amazing) thanks fo all your help steve.

hey, i have decided im going to try a v!z rim and see what they are like. so the question is either shall i get the sand bashed or anodised one? what are the differences and what is better for smooth with tar? or i can get another try-all? steve.

there are pros and cons to both. cassettes are expensive but you dont have to keep buying new ones everytime it gets dirt in you can just take it to pieces and clean it. even buy new pawls/springs etc. freewheels are cheaper but you can get some decent ones but they seem to break quicker from what ive seen. over all its what you would rather have breaking and how much money really steve.
