so basically, freewheels engage better at the rear. will i notice much difference moving from a rear to a front freewheel? steve.

hey, i have 2 questions, 1) if you run ffw, does it make it longer till the pedal engages or the same time or quiker engagements? and 2) if i have bought a select bikes welded freewheel, will it explode or come off or loosen or any off those bad things that every one always talks about? thanks :blink: steve.

there are a couple of makes that most people would go for: monty zona zoo gu echo onza(for good but cheap) and more. steve.

id reckon you should get the zona zip because as you said, the zoo! doesnt have a bash and by the sounds of that is you want one.plus if you ask some people they say they ride better or just the same than the zoo!s. steve :blink:

hey, might be buying a quando hub, are the flanges on that one the same size as the 12 quid monty hub? or will it work with: 184mm spoke on a 19inch rim in 4x? steve.

yes, it is possible but the pattern would be a bit confusiong and you'd have 4 hole open in you hub. steve.
