  1. I think people prefer forwards cause the momentum gained can get you up quite easy if done right. I personally prefer the sidehop its more controlled, however when I do a good tap it really boosts you up the wall with minimal effort. Its just a case of getting that "RIGHT" tap which can be a bit tricky. Josh..
  2. Thanks for your replys, I have used the old mono trial rotor from my echo and it seems ok and it hasnt even bedded in, so should be good when it has. I sent the old rotor off on friday so I will wait to see what they say about that and let you know how I get on. P.s. Matt I have started dieting ... so should you
  3. Hello guys/girls, I havent had my monty for long now and all was going well until today. I bought a new chain, grips and changed my pedals over gave everything a clean and took it for a ride then came the bang checked it over and noticed that the rear disc has actually cracked across 4 points. Just wondering has anyone else had similar problems or any problems at all with there monty '07 the rear disc is a monty/hope brake and I have never hit or landed on the disc. Could this be that a rear disc isnt up to the pounding or that the disc itself is a manufacturing problem. I know one thing its going back to hope first thing tomorrow with a bad note Comments please people, Josh.

  9. Hi, waynio you may have to become my daddy for the sunday as im not 18 untill the next day if thats not too much trouble, entry form for the comp was sent off today !! Cheers Josh..
  10. Hi mate, I definately think the try-alls are worth the extra money SPECIALLY in the wet and on natural they are the best tyres going !! The tread lasts about the same amount as the maxxis aswell from what ive experienced. Although the rear tryall is a little heavier But dont worry about that ............. Cheers Josh..
  11. Hi, I was considering going to a higher gear (Harder) I currently run 18 front 12 rear on a mod, What would I have to change to get a slightly higher gear ? Josh.
  12. Where can I get them fresh chain tensioners from or the micro chain tugs you were on about ?? And yes Ive tried most BMX chain tensioners APART from weighing as much as my bike they dont fit !! So Any other suggestions ?? ............ By the way there may be a mod tensioner soon that everyone wants and DUCKO is all I will say Josh..
  13. Hi people, I have a King hub and am quite frankly P****D Off to the max !! I cannot find any decent tensioners. I have tried some Tryall Snail cams and they are S**T Slip and dont keep the tension and you can barely set it up yourself. I just dont understand how I buy a top quality hub and a good frame (Echo Team) and I cant get some proper tensioners. It makes me want to buy a whole new frame from the problems that have led on from this (pads rubbing, chain snapping) So any idea's on some PROPER tensioners that may work ? Ive also considered a half link chain but they snap far too easily. Any suggestions would be nice or even a bodge that will work. Cheers Josh..
  14. Sexy williAm !! Loving them statics and your definately looking much more comfortable on a long bike Dont ever go back to such a short bike hides your talent !! Love you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Josh..
  15. Yello, Erm really you should be asking for a broken shoulder because it will heal quicker. Broken bones heal quicker because more blood gets to them, than ligaments. The more blood that can get to them the better because in the blood is the "repairing" stuff. So even though it may seem longer for a broken bone to heal it isn't. A broken bone is more painful aswell so you treat it better and usually not try anything, with ligaments you feel kinda up to doing something and then pull or damage it even more and can be back to square one again. My advice is still stay active (not too active), don't overstretch, get some cod livers in the system (or other oil source) and try going swimming a bit (IT HELPS A LOT) the warm water and movement should aid healing, But at the end of the day the main healer is time But if you don't ride too much or over-do it for a while I think you should be better in time good LUCK ! If you want to ride then try and keep it warm (one of them warm packs that last like 8 hours) but if I were you I would not risk it. Cheers Josh..
