  9. Mod bikes are cheating. Ian
  10. I'm tempted to start www.biscuit-forum.co.uk, would save threads as retarded as this one being posted on TRIALS forum. Ian
  11. So depending on the exact length of his bike, it's an 11-12ft gap? I'm impressed Looks big, but its not really worth a topic for it. Ian
  12. Please don't ever drive me anywhere!!! right = go centre= brake left= clutch
  13. Thats a whole different thing mate, if you've got pics of you riding, then post them up, people love seeing more riding pics! Just chill it on the bike pictures Ian
  14. That video, along with all your others, is stupid! how can you get so high from like a 5 metre run up on loose stone! Very impressed. Cant wait to see another stock video from you (if there will be one?) Also are you going to make another England video at any point? cheers Ian
  15. Well i said it that way as then you don't even need to take the lever off the bars, and as said, if you pour consistently, then there will be no air getting in. Your brake will only be as good as YOU bleed it. I've topped up my brake using that method numerous times, and its fine for me Ian
  16. You will soon get more power out of your left hand braking finger as time goes by. This is by far the most stupid thing i've read on TF in ages. Your from the UK, so keep your brakes our way! Ian
  17. That looks FANTASTIC (hype word) Very impressed, it doesn't look too street, and it doesn't look too trialsy either. Awesome. Ian
  18. I think you've milked the whole "this is my bike, what you think" thing for all its worth mate, so maybe answer the topic question rather than further showing off your average bike. If your new to trials then its always better to let people who know how to set up a trials bike do it for you, i.e, buy a complete bike. But if you have a basic knowledge of trials bikes, and bike set up, then building from scratch allows you to set up the bike exactly how you want it. Depending on which full set up you choose, the spec may be good enough to keep you going for ages, only changing parts which wear on any bike. If you opt for a cheaper one though, you will find that as you progress, parts will start breaking or holding back your riding ability. At the end of the day, its up to you. But before you make any final desicions, have a good look round at all the shops for complete bikes, and for separate parts. Hope i helped you decide Ian
  19. Mate, the entire thread is to find an alternative to a Koxx rim. Read it properly then edit with something useful Ian
  20. Bike ridden : stock Ian As you want 36 and not 32 h, the alex dx32 is not available to you, and that holds grinds for ages. Second to that, the 06 Echo rims hold grinds fairly well from what i've seen, but you will end up flat spotting it horrifically after five minutes of light riding. Ian
  21. Back off your tpa completely, turn your lever completely upside down on the bars so that the grub screw next to the hose on your lever body is at the top of the system. Once you've done that, get a bottle of water (any bottle will do) fill it up, then take out the grub screw on your lever body. Pull the lever all the way in and LEAVE IT PULLED IN!! Then take the bottle of water and start pouring it into the grub screw hole consistently so there is no break in the water being put into it, while doing this, release the lever very slowly so that it sucks in the water. Once the lever is all the way out, gently pour a bit of water to completely fill the grub screw hole, then put the grub screw back in. The system is then topped up, and you can adjust your tpa accordingly Ian
  22. You know your in the UK when your bored, and soaking wet. Ian
  23. Nice mate You seem to have good control. Not really much more to say as technique doesn't really vary that much on bike rails. Keep it up. Ian
