Pretty kool vid dude, and i've been riding the exact same amount of time as you aswell!!! Nice work, and hope your bikes ok from that wall to floor combo! Ian
-
How the hell can i say that??? because top companies who have done months of research into frame geometry have determined the correct bb rise for their frames, i.e, not excessive like the frames pictured, Any company can jump on the high bb bandwagon, but those frames just take the piss. and the fact they look foul aswell makes it even worse. Ian
-
They look pretty ming really, just excess weight for the sake of being different. But 90+ bb ride!!!! thats insane, that would be the most deceiving bike in the world, everything would feel tiny, and then you would go over the bars. Stick with tried and tested, not untried and mingin Ian

but seriously, its creepy the stuff you do, if i ever get good at riding, please don't hug me. Ian

The way i've always ground rims (thanks to steve A and matt is to get the grinder going, and just smack your rim with it, gets a nice deep grind, and takes hardly any time, you also feel like a right badass beating the S**T out of some metal with an angle grinder Try it! Ian
-
My friend steve a snapped his there and clive not only fixed it, but also put a crossover between the stays to prevent it happening again, sound like top service to me, shame i don't like high, short, and whatever colour you want bikes. ha ha. Ian

I've done pass plus, tis defiantly worth it, don't get that awkward first time on the motorway feeling and you get a feel for what real driving is like. I did it with the AA as i used them for lessons too. Just phone anywhere that does lessons and enquire about pass plus, most instructors are qualified to do pass plus training so it shouldn't be too hard finding one Ian Edit: They take you on proper sketchy country roads just wide enough to get the car through and they hope for a meeting situation (b***ards!) so you have to reverse the car for days on end. There is a lot of stopping to explain theory, like the all weather section obviously cant be in all weather unless the instructor is god/ weather controller styleee person. So they just go over precautions to take in icy weather and all that crap. Its weird having no instruction whatsoever bar directions, and you can get a bit of cheeky speeding in aswell without him saying anything But yea, defiantly worth it, i'm sure after you've done it at least a bit of it will be applied to your driving in the future.

Fair play for having a go, but its not really something people would go on regularly, infact i'm guessing nobody but you mates actually go on that site. And i hate to break it to you, but if my mom has been riding for 5 years then she would be better than you, don't go making claims you cannot back up. As for changes, its been said about the sparkely lines floating around giving everyone a headache, get rid of them, use a background colour different to the font, and don't use screenshots . The content you have used is 80% crap, you could have filtered through the images and used only a few of the best ones, nobody really cares about an endo down a bank, let alone seeing it 8 or so times. Upload it again when you think others would be impressed by it, get somebody to give you their honest opinion of it before releasing it to the masses. Sorry if any of that sounded harsh, but just keep at it and i'm sure you will get a good result Ian

When Do You Make The Transition
flipkickbs replied to MikeCottTrials's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
From what i see in trials at the moment, todays amazing is tomorrows average. You just need to keep up with what is viewed as 'the best' riders. I don't think there is really a transition from being good to amazing because a good sidehop: 45", amazing:50", not a lot of difference really. Personally i wouldn't even think of that, just ride to the best of your ability and if people view you as amazing then i guess thats an added bonus! Ian -
Looking at the height of it, children could quite comfortably get sick in that. It also discriminates against midgets, and people with abnormally large feet, e.g clowns. Also you will know exactly who has pissed and not washed their hands, Big issue guys could loose a lot of business by using that space pisser. Most ridiculous invention ever. Ian

If its just the plastic front then its 40 quid from the 02 shop, but the phone needs to be sent off to be fixed. They offer a replacement phone while you wait though. If your not on 02 though, i have no idea. Ian

Thats like saying wood is stronger than butter. 06 echo rims suck, everyone i know with them has flat spotted them. The holes are simply too big for the rim and the material is weak, all in all they are not good rims. Dx 32's are where its at, tried and tested, hard as nails

Avid Bb5 - Is It Still Quite Good?
flipkickbs replied to bikerboysam1's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
The bb7 has more adjustment options on it, Think the best place to buy would be crc simply because of free, fast delivery -
All hubs used in trials so far have all been faulted by riders, Hope (if the hub is as good as they say) have the potential to really revolutionize trials bikes with a hub that riders can be 100% confident in, because lets be honest, the first time your hub cracks or slips, a lot of confidence is lost in it, and when riding its always in the back of your mind (second to the chain snap obviously ) The amount of testing that has gone into this should guarantee an above parr hub compared to others which would not have been so rigorously tested. Hopefully the pro 2's testing has covered almost every eventuality and they have improved it to deal with them. My hope mono has slipped slighty before, and admittedly i don't completely trust it, but i accept it happening because it is not designed for primarily for trials use. As for the ridiculous king/ pro 2 arguments, i would say the same as comparing any components. If you trust it and have personally had no problems with it then keep on riding it! obviously the kings are technically the superior hub at the moment, but they are NOT built for trials, as a few unlucky people have proven, but are non the less excellent hubs which compared to my mono, i would have no trouble running. Can't wait for the pro 2 just too see what all this waiting has been about! Thanks Ian

When you click on media the links at the top (almost unreadable as they are) disappear in front of the picture of the camera. A few font colour and size changes and it would be a nice site
