Even with one of those 'hanger banger' things i would still break my mech landing on it, The whole idea of the fresh tensioner is to be able to get away with landing on it with no damage. Cheers for the help but i just want to sort out being able to run the fresh tensioner My chain is just perfectly the wrong length no matter what gearing i've tryed, Its either way too loose, or wont even reach to fit the links together. Its more frustrating that connect 4.

I've recently got a fresh products tensioner and it will not tension my chain . My chain is either left too loose, or wont even reach together. To fix this i have tryed changing my ration from 22-18 to 22-19 and still had the exact same problem, I have now changed to 20-17 costing me loads of cash for a 20t chainring and it just about tensions but works loose after a minute or so. I ride a 2004 echo control and have a kmc kool bmx chain. Would a new chain help this? or is it just completely chance as to whether it will work or not? thanks, one very annoyed Ian

I'd rather see the front tap any day!!!! But seriously it can get boring just watching comp sections, street trials has more creativity rather that just riding a set out course.

Did ne work for me either, dang and blast. Looks pretty wicked so far though

See how many thread pages we can get before anybodys actually watched this? following the standard format: 125kb/s 22 mins to go will edit when done.

Intentional use of bash guards in street?????? that should be illegal, using your bash looks minging and is mostly why people bitch about trials riders breaking walls etc. you spend cash on a good rear tyre for a reason, use it! sorry to have a go at avid bash guard lovers, but its just so dirty looking, scraping around on a wall. I would spend time working on other techniques rather than molesting walls with your bash. Ian

Joe isn't exactly a ballerina on his bike, It was on the landing when his backwheel slammed into the edge of the crate, he was lent back so far that him pulling on his bars put huge amounts of force through the stem, and in turn, cracked the frame. Was as smooth as a cheese grater wrapped in sandpaper.

Bitchin vid, steeeezzzz on that sidehop too!!

Yea, that ride was awesome, my feet still hurt from just running and jumping off crates after the ride, but gosh dang it was fun. Nice pics from Ad, and for Joe..HA HA!

No, if you think before you type then you would realize that hes asking for what you think will happen to trials in the future, he even gave an example of recent changes! Anyway, I think that soon trials bikes will reach the limit as far as correct geometry is concerned, and it will be down to better rider technique. Trials being as small as it it is at the moment (in comparison to other extreme sports) does not get much media coverage which is probably why there are so few riders. I'm not sure whether this will change, But hopefully in the future there will be some form of trials coverage other that the forum, and the extremely rare television coverage (Blue Peter )

How Many Hours Riding Do U Do A Week?
flipkickbs replied to heli_flyer's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I ride for 25/30 hours a week at the moment, every moment i get to ride, i ride, and when i feel like shizzle, i ride. And i've got a some riding stuff in my garden aswell, so when theres not enough time to go out, i can ride there. -
What the hell!!! started off a bit slow, and then as that first line went on, it became more and more stupid. Then it became retarded, then i had a heart attack. Some of the stuff in there diddn't even look like a possible trials line, but he used his freakinsh lack of a spine, or any skeletal structure to get up ridiculously high walls while using his go-go gadget arms to stay even slightly on the bike. SICK RIDING.

I know it's the thought that counts, but i'm sure allot of you have had some really useless christmas gifts this year, i'll start: A JD sports gift card, no idea how much cash is on it, And i don't wear sports clothes! A dressing gown, I have clothes, why cant i just wear them?? Post up so we can laugh at your lame presents, feel free to post up any really cool stuff you got aswell!

I think that in the future all trials bikes will look like this. Sidehops will reach upto around 80 inches using the 350mm bb rise and the bouncy ball compound rear tyre. Trials riders will only eat pastys to gain ultimate power for extreme maneuvers. This bb rise will allow for hooks on over vertical walls and also allow entire comp sections to be just ridden straight over leaving all the trials pros with scores of 0. This is my drink fueled idea, and i would 'laugh my ass off' if it ever happened.

Nah, santa doe's exist, i saw him hanging around the grotto in merry hill only today.

Just because its not cold doesn't make it any less like christmas! Happy christmas trials people!!! (mainly 26" riders ) Have fun!

Try-all Or 2006 Echo Rim For Rear?
flipkickbs replied to trials rules's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
My friend adam has an 06 echo rim in an 05 pitbull, it fits perfectly and makes brake setup very easy. I'm sure as deng owns both echo and zoo, he would make his products all compatible with each other to save customers buying form other non-deng companies (if there are any? ) -
Watch loads of trials vids, get psyked up on riding, then not really sleep because i wanna ride. I need to start doing speed then sleep when im on the down. So i guess watch tv (or near enough)

I used to run 22-16 which felt awesome (only because i'd not ridden anything better before). Then i started hanging round with fat mike, steve a, matt b etc who all ran lower gearing, so i made the change to 22-18, and golly gosh did it help. My gaps on the first day of running the new ratio improved by about a foot and my bike started to feel so much more responsive. I've stuck with 22-18 ever since and don't think i'm going to be changing any time soon.

That vid was awesome, thought the chilled music went really well with the vid because you made everything look so easy . Keep up the good riding, and another vid soon i hope!

Think yourselves lucky! i've got to work new years day at woolworths while still half drunk!!!! fuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!!

Joe, it was well over a year old frame ridden hard by matt burrows. And was already cracked while ross was riding it. So actually ross sidehopping up a 21 inch wall didn't really play that much of a part in snapping the frame. Any frame is going to snap eventually so an old frame snapping is really no big deal.

Thankyou, im just saying that in everyday life, such as travelling on dual carrigeways, you want a bike that you dont have to rape the engine on just to do the speed limit! My dad rides a kawazaki zx9r. Thats a 178mph bike, but he as the rider has the power to go at whatever speed he likes on it, And go as fast as he see's safe.
