Neither have i, i've heard that all the spoke patterns produce the same strength wheel build, so why have different spoke patterns?

I've recently had a wheel built (drilled alex dx32) It puts up with a load of s**t but has become very slightly egg shaped. The spokes are fairly taught and the spoke pattern is 3 cross. Would even tighter spokes help strengthen the wheel? or a different spoke pattern? Any help would be much appreciated (Y) Ian

Just run higher tyre pressure then? or learn the mystical art of smoothness, i run about 25-29psi and very rarely rim out on things (Y)

Go for an 04 echo control, stupid strong, and amazing to ride, iv had both the woodman and the echo and can safely say the echo is by far the nicest and with no worry of it snapping, you can get them from online shops amazingly cheap at the moment too :P ECHO!!!

SNAP! but until that happens you bike looks amazingly nice, I'd imagine it rides really well too, and is dam light, (with a 1.7kg frame) ^_^ Have fun riding it, then have fun replacing it <_< :P
