  1. If that was aimed at me then i agree, iv got the hub sitting on my desk and i just want it built! lol, sorry to turn a simple question into a ridiculous posting session!
  2. sorry, yea, 32 hole, 3 cross? (i'm not the most knowlegable in the wheelbuilding game)
  3. Yea unfortunatly i dont speak any other languages :) although i did get it in english, i still couldnt work out how to use it even after filling in the criteria, if somone does know the spoke length or how to use that crazy calculator please tell me! cheers
  4. Basically just need to know spoke lengths for a d521 on a front hope xc, Cheers all! :)
  5. Awesome vid!, had no idea you did that stuff, always keeping it low key while riding worcester with us lot to make us feel better? :) . Hopefully when you make a vid on the leeson it will be equally impressive, ill teach you some new moves if you like? lol. see you soon!
  6. so what are you actually looking for then? be more specific? isis, square taper?
  7. That what you were looking for JT?
  8. http://www.allterraincycles.co.uk/product.php?pid=101008 :)
  9. Iv got a grind, its my tyres i'm worried about, slip, slip, hospital!
  10. Lol, us bromsgrover's like sunshine and dry ground, not experienced winter riding yet so not sure what to do!
  11. Agreed, and how can i get to his level flower if all i do is tap this and sidehop that? i ride trials how i like to ride trials, he rides trials how he likes to ride trials, he has a different approach to it which i respect, but have no interest in, making the videos not very appealing to me. diddnt mean to offend as you seem to like his riding :)
  12. As the days are getting colder, wetter, and shorter, riding outside is becoming more difficult, Does anybody have a local indoor trials spot they ride in the wet/dark? post pics or descriptions! As it happens, bromsgrove has none, woooo! :)
  13. To be honest, i find ryan leeches riding boring, there is no real variation in his style and technique. Most vids on posted on TF are better than manifesto, and the art of trials. ryan leech :)
  14. Fair play, get a video on the go with some of that stuff in it! :D
  15. Cheers for the replies all, ill probly go for a sora, and that locking out mechs link was really handy! :D
  16. At present i have a shimano SIS rear mech which is pretty good " , but i don't think this mech can be locked out, so which is the best mech to buy?, and how do i lock it out? Cheers
  17. I agree with most people, the 04 is not a nice frame to ride, and is snappy happy. i have not ridden the 05 but as the 04 was so bad id imagine the 05's allot better.
  18. It is relatively small, yes, compared to the onza t-raptor, which i think (correct me if i'm wrong) 15", also if you look at uci style frames they have as little as 4 or 5 inch seat-tubes. As for the frame, its a bit on the heavy side, but as your leaning this shouldn't be too much of a problem. 140 quid for the frame only is not cheap, have a good look around and i'm sure you will find it for less. PS: Don't worry though, that bike got ridden into the ground! plus the owner did a rather nice static gap to chainstay which helped speed up the snapping process.
  19. Once you've got your basic technique down, don't be scared of anything! always push yourself to try better, more challenging things. Soon the things that at first seemed impossible will seem easy, and it keeps going like that, good luck learning, and have fun!!! (Y)
  20. Hs 33 with heatsink reds, bites like a crocodile!!
  21. Pretty much spot on. If your a learner, tar is amazing, gives you allot of confidence in your brake, although tar is a bit on off braking sort of thing, so dabbing the brake for manuals, etc becomes quite tricky
  22. Once you get the hang of using only one finger it will feel so much better, far easier to control the bikes due to a more solid grip on the bars, if you feel like you don't have as much power in braking using one finger then get your brake working really well so it doesn't need as much force to hold you, soon it will feel really natural and improve your riding! hope this helped :-
  23. Yea, ill get mike to build me a new one, no doubt there will be some sort of charge involved, even though i supplied him with awesome toastie sandwich material last time he was round, iv heard BMF rims are pretty strong even when drilled so that could be an option, cheers :)
  24. Yea, nice story, there must have been some part of you that wanted to see that kid go for it :) , most of my friends wear bmx stylee helmets which is probly what ill go for, but thanks for the advise, ill make sure it fits good and well :)
