  2. Well, 30 months is quite an age too. Back in the days when we were starting the Triton Bikes project with Luke Edwards from Triton Cycles, we were thinking of how to name the models. My name is Dmitry, but the short version is actually Deema Luke said it sounded unusual for an English-speaker. Plus I would be able to show off to girls that I had a bike named after me haha. So we named them Deema's. Some customers used to ask me to keep it noname, but there was still a batch of those frames built with this name. So voila
  3. Wooow! The old Triton! One of the earliest! Glad it's still running! I will be glad to offer you a new frame with a discount as you are the retro owner PS: I guess nobody knows what "Deema" stands for
  4. Base prices will be uploaded soon. Sorry about that. All frames are custom built and shipping fees are different depending on a country thus the price may vary a lot
  5. And you did not like it, right? The frame must have been built between years 2005-2006. First frames had smaller OD stays thus leading to more flex compared to frames made in 2007+. The other thing is that customers order Ti for its slight spring and flex effect and ask me to use thinner stays. Hi Ben, That's GBP 595 including postage to the UK Thnx Dmitry Yeah, I have had many orders on frames with 375mm CS. This is more like eastern european trend. English guys usually go for 380-385
  6. Je crois que je dois envoyer un Triton en France for free testing Because that's just funny. You have never tried the thing but you compare it to other products. Yes, Ti is different to Alu. But hey, I can make same frame either more or less flexy by just choosing different tubing and stays design. For XC frames we use 18mm tubes (chainstays and seatstays). For trials frames we usually pick 22mm tubing (1mm walls). Trials stays are shorter (average trials CS are 375mm for a 26" bike and the XC CS's are 425), etc etc. The seat tube angle on the trials frame can also vary the frame feeling. And the way stays are connect to the top tube. Everything counts. I can press two ends of an XC frame together with a hand. I can't move them much on a trials frame. I have gone through many frame designs and listen to the feedback from each customer. Nobody ever disliked Triton for its springy feel. They usually dislike the price But that's what titanium has always been...
  7. Hey, how many broken Triton frames have you seen? Sure fewer then I did. I didn't see many. How many Triton frames did you ride to say they ride like a spring? WTF?

There's a temporary blog: http://tritonframes.com A nice website will be there soon The price of a frame including shipping to the UK starts at GBP 595...and up to whatever depending on what the customer wants it to look like. Thanks Dmitry PS: Michael, I love your bike! Dunno how light or heavy it is. But it should feel awesome. Enjoy
  9. Hey Mike, I will be sending you the photos of your two frames soon

No, it's a custom made frame for Mr. Eskimo. It is neither bmx nor trials. PS: This bike is sick. I wish I could try it out. May come to the UK another day... But damn, you guys have rear brakes on the left side. Bugger It's good to be a frame manufacturer though. I can make one for myself
  11. Dan, thanks for posting up your bike! It is a nice bike and by looking at the rotor guard I can see you are using it the way it is supposed to Your bike is the second Triton with the rotor guard ever made. The first one is my white Triton. I have now received quite a few inquiries on adding the rotor guards to the ordered trials and street frames. 2Monty Man Sam: You can email me at info@tritonframes.com or PM me. Thanks, Dmitry
  12. You can try your friends' frames, see what you like and dislike, then we can make up something that suits you. Easy. But I know what you mean
  13. Made those 26-29" unicycles for 4" Surly tyres
  14. Thanks! Height is the main issue yeah
