I brought a trials seat off ashton bikes last wednesday. I had an emil saying the order has been succesful and the money has been taken. This week i have rung them about 6 times and my dad has left two messages. Why are they not answering? And i've emailed them a few days ago and got no response from that either. What is the point. It doesn't say anything about them being on holiday or anything like that. Does anyone feel similar or had the same problem etc. Or does anyone know anything. Much appreciated... Luke

I had loads of Spyware and Adware on my pc. I had a proper xp home edition on it and what i used to do is do a system restore so the pc was like it was when brought new whenever it was real slow or just messed up, which has happened many times. Someone took control because of files been lost(don't want to explain the full situation)so i told him to do the restore and use copy disks to put the songs etc onto. I came back one day and he told me the restore didn't work and he'd put windows 2000 or something on. I know he had problems with that and he's then installed another addition or something(don't know the names of all these different ones). I thought hard drives couldn't get rid of what has been originally put on it, in my case how it was brought, with xp on it? So i was wondering, is there any way of getting my computer to how it was brought new? You see this person is saying he thinks i may need a new hard drive which i know is wrong 'cus i have done that restore so many times. No sarcy comments please, i don't know much as you can probably tell, Thanks, Luke

O.k, So basically i was going to buy the sony ericcson w800i phone off ebay, they seem to sell for 200 + postage all the time. Then my dad said i could have a contract. Because i have 200 quid, i thought if the phone is free and the contract is 25 a month then that's 300 a year (12 month contract), which is what the phone costs new from a shop. So i was all sieked up for havin' this contract which is as below: 100 + Double texts for 1st 3 months, 100 (anytime Xnet) + Double minutes for 1st 3 months That's the 02 100 contract. My friends at school say i should be able to get a better deal than that. And my one friend says he has 500 cross network calls and 500 texts, FOR 20! I believe this is absolute crap, i know it's not a cheap phone too. Someone also told me some places do student offers? My cousins a student and i could get him to buy the phone with i.d, because my dad would be paying anyway, but either way i could get round this. So in a nut shell, does anybody know of any good contracts for this phone, or offers anywhere, or any advice etc?? please help, Luke

I'd have a couple, where it says ' T-Bird ' I'd probably want it to say ' LUKE ' in red, I'd like two of them. I'd also, most definitely want two for the downtube which just say Zoo!, as usual, in red if that's alright? You seem to have enough interest, around when would these be made? and for how much? How long can the words be for each of the different stickers? Also would i be able to have them in black and white? Any, if you can't i'd still have the red, If you could get black and white i'd be tempted to have what i want in both colours; black and white, and red, if it's an alright price that is.... On my pure i use a shadow conspiracy slim seat. Looks good, not too bulky, light and fairly cheap. http://www.alansbmx.com/product_info.php?products_id=678 Can get the stitching in different colours too, to match your bike. I don't know what seat tube i use, anything fairly light weight's decent. Luke

Right, just brought a pentax optio 60 tonight for 120 quid from pc world. Set it up. It's a 6 mp camera with 3 times optical zoom and 5 digital. Basically it didn't come with a memory card but has internal 12 mb storage. I was obviously planning on getting an sd card. I was messing around with it as you do, took about 3 photo's, put them on my computer, did this once more, and well the batteries had gone. They are decent batteries, Duracel i think. I have now looked this camera up on the net and many people who have reviewed this say the battery life is appauling too I'm going to take it back to pc world on Sunday and would like another camera soon. I am looking for a good make and what everyone wants really; the best you can get for your money. I've seen the quality of my 6mp camera and the 3 optical zoom and it seems good, i wouldn't really want anything less than the quality of mine. I heard from someone that the fuji finepix's can be better than camera's with higher number of mp's, is this true? My ideal camera is good quality pictures, doesn't have to be nothing too great and video's. This is why i think a Mini DV might be best for me, would have to save up then though Can any of you people with experience with cameras recommend anything or give your opinion? Also if you recommend a camera you have could you post a pic you've taken with the camera? That'd be great I think i may just buy what i've always wanted now; a mini DV, can they take still, whats the quality of stills and video like? If any of you know a decent one of those for around the 200 mark (or less) that'd also be great. If any of you have a Mini DV you want to sell, tell me and if it's decent i might be up for it Opinions on this whole thing?? Much appreciated , Luke

Get some blue fabric from a market like i did today (but i got white ), or from a fabric store. Mine's about 50 mm wide so fits my echo rims, i bought it in a 5 metre long strip and it cost just over a quid. Then just put normal wide rim tape behind it, works great. You don't see the colour of the rim tape behind it 'cus there's no light inside the wheel 'cus of the innertube, tyre etc If you haven't got any tape just sticky tape it down, if you do, tape it quite alot all round the sides. In R.M i used this machine that was called Donkey saw by all the teachers etc to cut all of my steel. I've searched on the internet and i can't find this machine by searching for a 'Donkey saw' and similar searches. I need a pic of this machine to sketch it and then it'll be part of my research. The machine is bolted to the floor and it has a saw which simply moves forwards and backwards resting on the piece of steal which is clamped in. Can anyone help? Cheers, Luke

May be a very stupid question but do some mech hangers come bent? I have an Echo pure and my mech is bent i presume it is not meant to be like this, If i put it in a vise and get it straight again do you think it would be alright to use again? Or would it just bend too easy? It's not bent meagerly but its bent enough. Cheers, Luke

I had just took the cassette off my XC hub and i was getting a tricky spacer off ( which is still on) and the bit the cassette slides onto came out What should i do? I've got all the bits back , only a little rectangle block and some small brings came out. Doesn't look like my hub will be sent to Tarty tomorrow now If anybody has a pic of how it is meant to be assemble or if someone could me guide me through somehow that'd be great. Cheers, Luke

I've restarted it a few times on different occasions and it still comes up everytime when i log on. Can anyone help.
