  1. That. Discussing things via email is a good thing because it leaves a "paper trail" but personally I'd always talk such matters through over the phone. I don't buy used bike parts but any 2nd hand car stuff I purchase is discussed over the phone with the seller. If he doesn't supply a phone number, I ignore the ad.
  2. Yeah just try different pressures. If you like it really low you'll need to find a balance between comfort and constantly pinching your tube. I've been running higher and higher pressures over this year, from 0.7 bar in the spring to 1.05 bar currently. I adjust the pressure according to how much strength I put into preload. Basically the idea is to use the full tyre height on gaps and sidehops and not bottom out half way through preload.
  3. Amazing effort. Rails looked scary, I'm quite surprised they need to be that high and you have to go there and back. As for the 4,5m drop, hats off to you for attempting that 3 times and not walking away Shows real dedication. Perhaps it's just the angle but it looked like you weren't trying to lower yourself into the drop before taking off the edge?
  4. Love the slow motion towards the end of the vid. If anything these tricks look more impressive when you can admire the precision that goes into performing them. And that slightly failed drop from Danny, it looked like the whole bike was going to break
  5. How the hell you do all those moves is just beyond me. Literally. I can't remember the last time a video made me WTF out loud so many times. Out of interest, are you by any chance a bmx rider? Your riding does have a somewhat bmx'y feel to it but that could just be the loud freewheel and no brakes.
  6. Some oldschool forks you've got on there. And finally someone is using that tyre on the rear
  7. GT85 and WD40 isn't strictly a lubricant. Using it in freewheels can even f**k them up sometimes. Echo freewheels have very little lubrication which is why they sound a bit rough but also perform very well in the dry. As for lubrication, I'd use a thin grease but it'd probably be wise to wait for the Tart to tell you exactly what to use.
  8. That website is pure bullshit. http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread745165/pg1 There's apparently a man who's steering the hurricane and he's probably a terrorist. Geez, imagine how stupid these f**ks must be to believe in that.
  9. 1300 for the frame, 3500 for the bike.
  10. Please lets refrain from stupid comments about how strong this bike is. Not too keen on the looks but I love the idea. It's up to companies like Monty and Koxx to develop the trials market, good to see that Monty are still a major player in this game.
  11. Downloading Deus Ex, for some reason it already downloaded overnight but disappeared from my Steam account and started over from 0%. Seriously annoying Would much prefer to just download a DVD image file from a site like Direct2Drive or something. edit: If anyone is thinking about getting this - do it. Didn't much care for it at the start, actually found it a bit boring because how interesting and important can a security breach be in a medium sized corporation but once the story unfolds it becomes really interesting. It raises some pretty important questions about morality, human and tech evolution, media and policies. Not sure it's as good as the first game but the plot is bloody good so far and very well constructed. Although it lacks a satisfying ending. The plot just ends out of nowhere with no closure. Can't wait for ME3.
  12. WD40 around the piston, let it soak through. Worked for me.
  13. Your riding style is really starting to improve in my opinion. Much more explosive and more effortless than before. Something I didn't like in your previous vids was that your big gaps really did look like you're about to shit yourself. Now you seem to just fly off the edge. And that brakeless frenchie - class.
  14. Yeah the quality is really impressive for something as small as that. Really need to get one of these for motorsport.
  15. Do you feel like a slave? Obviously you need control, that's a part of society. There are certain standards enforced by organisations like the police to make life better for the community. Are taxes a form of slavery? No, because they're a way of paying for the facilities we use daily like the infrastructure, healthcare etc. If you don't want to feel like a slave go into a bush somewhere in the Kongo and you'll probably be free until some tiger makes you his bitch
  16. Looks good as it is, a bit like a Cocks Sky?
  17. Well it's an interesting subject. But I don't think that drilling air is a good idea.
  18. Well, DX3 is out in a few days and it's said to be as good as the first installment.
  19. This is the silliest thread I've seen for months.
  20. Frankly speaking the last time I came across both those terms was in Deus Ex. I do believe in aliens, it'd be silly not to. But whether they resemble human beings and use flying saucers for transport is a different matter.
  21. Greetings

    Osloride 2011

Really enjoyed that although it was quite confusing with all those riders in blue shirts. Blue seems to be a pretty popular choice in Norway
  22. Well you should. I want to be amused. Now.
  23. Damn you. I wanted to post a pic of a camel.
