  1. Wasn't expecting that. Quite something.
  2. Hope that was his car. Nice riding style though if you can say that from watching a failed sidehop.

Definitely need more. It's absolutely epic what you can do with no brakes. This gives me an idea, perhaps you should look for other parts in your bike you can do without? Handlebars for instance? Chain?
  4. There's also some X-Ray 2012 frames out, not a huge fan personally. The red is much more vivid but the frames are apparently anodized which is a good thing.
  5. Ok, that's probably why 8 years ago trials frames were so large. Having no BB rise + a low frame = completely silly and probably very very flexy.

I for one will send a small donation later this evening as a little thank you for all the entertainment you've provided over the years. By the way, was looking for your first HD video and while there's a link to it in the 2007 category, the video is not embedded on your website.
  7. That's often overlooked by riders. There's a choice between light and strong parts, you cannot have both with maybe a few exceptions. It's time riders started to see the corelation between light and weak. This isn't aimed at the topic starter because I don't know which Viz forks you're talking about. Never heard about Viz Lite forks, thought they only made 1 model which the Trialtech was based on and which proved to be fairly bombproof.
  8. What's the point of this? If you were trying to maximize locking power then surely you're better off with using the more powerful compound on the whole backing, not just half?
  9. Cage fighter scared of owls = possible solution to the recent owling problem. Not phobias, but I'm a bit calustrophobic and scared of heights. Not a big fan of spiders, usually panic if I notice one up close though this may vary. Geoffrey didn't make me panic (a large-ish spider which every evening ran from under the TV to under my desk).
  10. Felt hung over one day and wasn't going to ride so Michal asked me if he could borrow my bike for a few hours because he'd like to see what it's like to ride a stock on natural terrain. With no getting used to, this happened:
  11. That's the one I was talking about but since there's no audio you wouldn't be able to tell it's got a linkin park soundtrack
  12. I've stumbled across a classic video from London featuring Dan Pepin. First saw it many years ago and always admired his riding style. Just wondering if anyone could point me to any other vids of him? The one I've got is London2 with a Linkin Park soundtrack.
  13. Being British must be so complicated.
  14. Ride in China. Not that I intend to quit.
  15. Nope, constantly happy. Just minor disappointments every now and then but I quickly forget about them.
  16. Just listening to the soundtrack brings back amazing memories.
  17. Please get some new forks, bars, stem, pedals, cranks and bb before attempting to break these records. I'd hate to see the consequences if something snaps.
  18. My last pair of shoes were Nike Cortez, they lasted 6 (!!!) years of riding. Highly recommended. Now I'm waiting for some Ribos to arrive from Tarty, not keen on the looks though. Mr Wood sure made a valid point there...
  19. Been riding for 10 years and I still freak out sometimes when I see the bashring lurking on the right side of the bike. So Mr Topic Starter, you have my full support.
  20. I don't understand the problem. You've got 1,5cm play in the lever caused by the piston not returning or there being air in the system? If the piston isn't returning, the usual trick is to flood it with WD40 from the top. Give it time to soak through, it should bounce back after a few minutes.
