  1. I've been riding trials regularily for 10 years That's why I don't have any problems with blisters. But the soreness has been there ever since I've started. Surely you're both right because the body will eventually adapt. Jeez, you can really tell that this forum is full of men I was thinking more along the lines of ointments (NOT copper grease or other lubricants) but I guess that since Hannah Shucksmith has left us there will be no mention of womanly potions on TF.
  2. I ride without gloves. Don't have problems with blisters but after a longer ride (4 hours say) my hands get sore and red and riding the next day is very unpleasant. To put it short, my muscles regenerate quickly allowing to ride the next day but my hands do not. Usually don't care because I don't ride every day but sometimes we have organized 2 day rides and it's kinda annoying that you have to miss out on half of it. Is there any way one can treat this problem to make the soreness go away more quickly?
  3. That's an automotive tool, you should be able to find it in any store which deals with such tools. They're used for removing hubs and bearings. What almost always works is just undo the crank bolt and ride... the crank will fall off.
  4. He's merely commenting on the bad economical situation of the area Pavel chooses to shoot his vids in. While you may not agree with him, you must admit that his point is valid and well argumented. Loved the vid, his front wheel ups are so smooth. Makes me frustrated that I can't pull them off.
  5. In case you didn't notice, we're all just playin
  6. Well, if you want to look half gay then that's your ride.
  7. You might want to ask Tom or Danny to delete this thread after you're done. Just for good measure.
  8. There's already been a sub 7kg Curve.
  9. Seems I've become quite the basher
  10. Depends. Some are gold, some are silver. Probably depends on the batch.
  11. FYI, that frame has got a Ti bb. Turns out all of them do
  12. Nobody seems to understand the question. You used "square taper bb" and "strong" in one sentence.
  13. It's the same frame just facelifted and rather annoyingly there's no HS33 option.
  14. Perhaps he sleeps in that position.
  15. Hot straws and dog berries? Never tried it. I'm against the merge. For one there would be too many topics, even new ones would get lost and forgotten on the 2nd page. Secondly I have a feeling that BC contains some of the riffraff that used to sit in NMC before it was removed.
  16. How long till it's finished? Will definitely buy it.
  17. I've been thinking for the last 5 minutes about how to comment on this thread and came up with nothing. Going to post anyway.
  18. Caption to the face you did after getting off the bike: "Goodness gracious, I've succeeded".
  19. That was really good in a wierd way. Some bloody smooth and flowy crutching there.
  20. Great video. You're pretty good at pretending to be a beginner too But as said above, the locations are stunning. Especially the one by that radio/tv tower with a view on the city. I would love to ride there some day.
  21. It's infuriating how Deng's new non 20" frames all need a half link chain if you plan to run any sensible gear ratio Waiting for the chain to stretch is an option but it could take ages. They really don't stretch that much. Take into account that even if it stretches by 4mm (which is quite a lot for a chain) that's only 2mm in chainstay length. What I'd do is file down the chainstay yoke a bit. I did that with my '10 GU LE, also had clearance issues with a Rubber Queen 2.4". edit: oh and by the way, it's a Chinese frame, if you've got an issue with it, it's a probrem, not a problem.
  22. Just watched the news and they talked about a cantor owner who lost a bag with ~150k in it. It fell out of the boot of his car as he was driving it to the bank. The bag was found by a pedestrian who returned it to the owner after reading a notice in the papers. This made me wonder. What would you do in a situation like this? Thought I'd make the poll anonymous
